Well, I think the author should renamed the manga to Tonari no Fukuda-san, as that's what it's turned into. Not that I mind as these two are much better than the two current MCs. Still, forgetting about your main characters in their own manga is a bit of a unique thing.

Happens from time to time, sometimes for the better. Her Majesty Marie Antoinette lost her diva throne in Rose of Versailles to a certain androgynous Oscar, and the rest is history.

Obviously Tonari no Fukuda-san won't have such a pedigree, but I do think it's more interesting right now.

I have been thinking that the "side arc" right now would eventually be important to the main couple being able to progress....

My god.... why was that story so much better than the main couple! this could have been it's own manga IMO it would have been short but i'd definately re-read it once a year or so.

I hope Fukuda X Kazuki will stay happy ever after... but to see Fukuda's changing attitude is really surprising... who expect she will become this cute??? (remember all the rage when she bullied our main character)

Well, now that Fukuda and Kazuki seems to be resolved, let's see if Yuuto and Kotone will actually get some screen time again or stay as the side characters.
