I was reluctant to believe this, but now I can believe, and now I can rejoice!

I'm not too keen on the director & writer change though. The new guys have both done good work, so we'll see.

Damn I was really happy to see this announcement but this director change is a real kick in the teeth. Lets just hope he sticks to the successful formula of the first season.

Well... there's several very excellent threads in the manga that could be used that don't require "progress in the main romance"... It will be interesting to see which ones they choose to animate or how they might mix them around.

Okay easy predictions for 2nd season.

People who watched Working! for Katanashi and Inami - Omg this new director and writer suck!

People who wanted more of the other cast members - This new director and writer are much better!

Or, you know, people who watched for the whole thing will form their opinions based on how the new staff handles the project as a whole.

I really enjoyed (my favorite part, really) Katanashi & Inami, so I will be a little disappointed if there isn't a lot of attention on them.

Definitely enjoyed the way they developed those two in the first season. Felt Poplar featured less and less.

Either way looking forward to this.

Fantastic news! Working was a great comedy series, but I watched it for the Inami segments. I really liked that dynamic because Inami actually wanted to cure it. You hardly ever see that. Great news overall.

Now if we could get Seitokai Yakuindomo S2 confirmed...

Aside from Katanashi & Inami being such an adorable couple, I'm hoping to see more development on the Jun & Yachiyo front It's killing me as much as it's been killing Jun

Ohh, best news ever. Like many of you, I really enjoyed the first season's adaptation, and was rather disappointed when it ended.. it felt like it was really just about to take off, since I've really fallen in love with each of the characters and their quirky traits. Very much looking forward to the second season!

Where is the girl in the last episode of season 1? Did she quit her job?

She's cleaning the tables while complaning about her coworkers being slackers on top of being weird.

A-1 Pictures is headhunting everywhere, but isn't Xebec damaged the most? I feel sorry for them.

EDIT: Both director and character designer are ex-members of Xebec.

Simply put, production time is consistency, and budget is framerate.
Even poor animation is costlier than a high-quality still shot.

You see, even in the manga, she barely shows up. She's a gag amongst gags.

They can keep their army, though it's cute - I'd settle for some actual screen time in the new season.
