New ED is awesome.
Old ED was good too, but this was also good enough that I didn't miss the old one.

Since I didn't manage to find a copy of P3 I wasn't able to experience the fangasm, but man isn't it nice when the anime acknowledge and pander to the fans of the original franchise?

Other than that, it was a blast watching this episode.

Good old P3 had some awesome track indeed. A pretty nice fanservice episode. Drunken MC was funny. ^^

Did you notice how all the girls fawned over Narukami..... I almost got jealous.... I wished I could be the one doing that to him.... and he seemed pretty pleasej with the situation too..... hahahaha, still water, isnt he?
I just thought it was a little out of character for him to enjoy the female attention with such an ease.... I mean, the way he rejected the sexy nurse:

nurse: wont you go and grab something to eat with me?
Narukami (closing the door from outside with a deadpan face): No, I have work now
I love the calmness with which he refused her....

He is one hot piece.... no wonder the girls were all over him.... but I dont blame them considering the remaining 3 guys....

Best episode. Now it's really proven (for me, at least) that the tv series really excels in the slice of life department while the mystery/action part is really bleh.
Who cares, though. Now it's Naoto FTW!

Well that episode was a great bit of fan-service towards the the P3 fans. Especially me since P3 is my favorite game in the series. I thought it was cool how they used the P3 soundtrack for the whole episode as it's always been my favorite out of all the Persona soundtracks too. It'd be nice to see an adaptation like this for P3 eventually but I'm not getting my hopes up.

While I was from the beginning expecting Chihiro to appear, it's shame there were no SEES cameos/appearances. I guess The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena will have to suffice for that.

Anyway, Yu killed me this episode. Especially the part when he was unbuttoning his shirt in his "drunken state" and always asking for his glass to be topped off. It's a shame he was never this hilarious in the game, but that's for obvious reasons. I guess the comedy's one of the very good things about this adaptation.

It's too bad that the "slice of life" stuff is only part of what makes the Persona series so good though.

So next week begins Naoto's arc. Judging from the preview I can't tell if they're gonna split it into 2 episodes like they did for Kanji and Rise or just jump right into the confrontation with Naoto's shadow...

Wow, this ep is total fanservice for those who played Persona 3. Some are to be expected like Chihiro (seeing her animated brought great joy to me) but I don't expect them to use the best hits of P3, so that's a very pleasant surprise. They even added (actually, I think that's part of her S.Link, but they move it here) a nice Chie scene too.

But the best part is, without a doubt, Yu Narukami. If nothing else, this anime has done a great job with his character. The 'nothing fazes me' approach is a stroke of genius, it fits the silent protagonist from the game while at the same time makes him cooler and allows for hilarious situation. Also, the times he made an expression, you know it counts (like when he saw the fish last ep, love his face there).

I don't know why the non-alcoholic (but then how did they forgot about everything? How strong a placebo effect is there?) makes him act that way, but I personally love it. The moment he opens his shirt, and then the BABY BABY BABY start playing, the fun train just won't stop. Really, there might be flaws in other areas but P4A really shines when it comes to comedies and more slice-of-life episodes.

No, You're not alone .

Just watched episode 15. So much fun... And hearing P3 music again was great.

I hope they will be able to deal with the serious part from now on as well as they've done the comic one.

Hey thats great comadre!!

Anyways, I agree that the slice of life and comedy aspect carry this show. I cant say I enjoy the fighting scenes ..... whenever they call their personas with that serious expression I have the urge to giggle..... but all in all it is fun and I havent eve played the game.

I assume the guy the police captured is not the real culprit? So the action should continue soon enough.

Yea, looking back on all the episodes, I never would've guessed going into P4A that'll we'd be getting a comedy of all things.
Honestly, this last few episodes really drove home the point that the anime works better with the SOL laughs than the mystery or the character studies. That, and being a huge fanservice machine for the gamers.

P3-service This episode had more yaoi and shoujo material than Brave10 and InuBoku combined can muster all winter

I never paid much attention in the composition of posters' sexes, but my general impression is that both the anime and the game were equally popular with both

Don't forget romance, despite being quite juvenile and more dominant in the game... or at least what I was paying attention to when playing it

I hated the hack'n'slash half of the game, but it's not that bad in the anime... shadows trying to lick Chie... Yuu/Kyousuke in heat... Kanji's dungeonsauna's sleazy traps

Giggle? I was ROLFing subverted in fans' servitude during this episode's Yuu's crowning

I guess that's because the waifu wars that always pops up on every board when people talk about P4.

But I think this game was meant to be enjoyed by both genres and, actually, it is. I don't know many female gamers like me, but the few I know, liked P4 and like Persona games.
