Kaito put to the test.
This time there were no ordinary puzzles and they weren't harmless either.
It was pretty interesting watching those two sidekicks solve puzzles.
Kaito's little fit was a bit unexpected though.

I see Nonoha went to the Tsukishima Aoba cooking school and gratuated with high honors

Also was that Shinji reference just the fansubbers having fun or was it really in the anime script?

Nah, it was just the fansubbers, Galileo was making a pun. He said "taigaa ando hoosu" -> "tiger and horse" = "tora & uma" = "trauma."

...yeah, it's pretty much untranslatable. ^^;; (I didn't even get it at first.) Still, I don't think the random Evangelion reference was a good idea, especially as it was a completely different situation...

Anyway, oooh, the plot thickens. Galileo was pretty funny pining after Nonoha, and the "Nonoha sweets" was a nice idea: it ruined two Very Serious scenes, further proving that the show doesn't take itself very seriously. It's strange, though, that only Kaito had this reaction to her cookies, everyone else thought they were alright.

Btw the OST is rocking hard without being noticed by the most... I'm enjoying this more than what I expected although the art is very inconsistent, they changing the staff in every episode or what?

I know the plot is kind of dumb, but this really is a great show.

Serious business my friend. First children's card games, now puzzles.

Kaito: I can't solve puzzles anymore!!!
Me: OH NO, THE WORLD WILL END!!!

Nice to see memories of Kaito's past with the headmaster. He was kind of cool back then, well regardless he helped bring Kaito back a second time. Glad he solved it and was able to save Nonoha and Gammon.

That wasn't the headmaster - it was his teacher (? master?) whom we saw in the England flashbacks. (They look a bit similar, but the headmaster has no glasses and is voiced by Fujiwara Keiji. The voice of the Mystery Master is Koyasu Takehito.)

Anyway, yeah, it was another cute episode, I liked Gammon tried to help Kaito in his own way.

Haha, and I just remembered that the headmaster has glasses after all... ^^;; Still, I could tell Fujiwara Keiji and Koyasu Takehito apart in my sleep.

I'm really finding this anime interesting. It's the fact that when you see the puzzles shown in the anime, you think to yourself that you've seen a puzzle like that before and could never figure it out.

To see Kaito and his friends (Who i'm really liking at he moment as side characters) solve these puzzles with ease, it interests me to see how they did. I'm always looking forward to thie next episode, I want to see more interesting puzzles and Kaito and his friends in action.

As for the newest episode, it really is ironic that Kaito has a love for puzzles even though they were the things that killed his parents. Now that he can't solve them, i'm wondering what's going to happen next.

Go Nonoha, go!

Aww, how can this anime be so cute? It's more "iyashikei" than anything I've seen recently. (Or maybe it's just me.)

Also, anyone notice how the cast is getting pretty damn impressive? We have Fukuyama Jun, Ishida Akira, Fujiwara Keiji, Koyasu Takehito, Sakurai Takahiro, Miyano Mamoru, and now Morikawa Toshiyuki - and this is just the male front. I wonder whom we will be hearing next...

The music is pretty nice, too. It's clear that a nice amount of money and thought went into this show, even though it's just a kids' anime.
