In PV, Achiga-girls and Shiratodai's team drawing are ok but the drawing style of girls from other team (especially a long hair girl and a girl who is sleeping on her lap) are strange compare to manga.

I wonder if the differences in the art for Side-A is due to the fact that a different person is doing it in the manga. Unlike Saki where Kobayashi Ritz did both the story and the art, Side-A's art is done by Igarashi Aguri (who created and did the art for Bamboo Blade). Personally I really don't see any real difference in the art, maybe some lack of detail on the side characters.

The new soundtrack in PV1 is pretty catchy. I found myself keep replaying the part where it played. LOL
I'm still hope that they will fix the drawing and colour tone a bit from PV because they look too different from the first Saki series.

This week's Young Gangan may not have had a chapter of the Saki manga, but it did have an announcement of the Saki Achiga Hen OP.
The song, performed by StylipS, MIRACLE RUSH will be released on 5/16 in both CD and CD/DVD formats. The announcement also states that the first airing will be on TV Tokyo on April 8th at 25:05. If Crunchy picks this up, it'll likely be Sundays at noon.

I will watch this, no question, but looking at the designs of the main five, something seems a little off. The hair colors are... subdued, too normal. Now, a rainbow spectrum isn't always a good indicator of a series' tone (I can think of several examples and counterexamples off the top of my head), but it feels... odd.

This month's Shounen Gangan will come with two Achiga extras. The first are two replacement covers for the first manga volume. The second is an anime style poster.
The BD-Box for the first season includes a new trailer for the series. I'm on the hunt for a video, but here's a couple of stills.

Again, maybe I'm just too stick with the art style in manga or the art style in the first season anime, but I still have a hard time accepting art style in Achiga-hen anime. The details on characters are too low,I mean. Maybe, it will look better when animated.....
