Little Men / Tale of Young Grass: Nan and Miss Jo

We have a tracker for the 2nd series http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/1866.html spawned by Licca Fansub's work on Jo's Boys in the last couple months. They've done 5 episodes so far and I didn't see a thread listed for their work, so I thought it would be good to create a thread to discuss both series since they are continuous and we could see tracker for the first one in the future.

Licca says the prequel is licensed so I guess it would be bad to list it.

That said, I do want to point out, it looks like the group "ARR" apparently subbed the first episode of Jo's Boys earlier in March http://www.nyaa.eu/?page=torrentinfo...47&showfiles=1

I found it while searching for Licca's work on Nyaa.

I'm wondering, has anyone read the books? It's kind of a shame a company would license the first series but not the second one, because it leaves people in limbo because whoever buys the dub or whatever would have to go to subs to enjoy Jo's Boys.

I guess if I can't find the anime I could read the novels to find out who Jo is. I got Licca's first ep but stopped as I began to watch realizing I was sort of in the dark about the context. Little Women is probably good reading material anyway, would save bandwidth and all that.

So yeah we can't discuss torrents for first series but I think it'd be okay to review the anime for anyone who has seen the dub for adding context to the sequel.

Does anyone perhaps know how long the license was rented for? Like maybe the date it could expire?

Anyway one thing about Little Women though, is that Nippon Animation did release the first episode (I think raw) for free on their YouTube account for anyone to view, it is an official release so I think it is okay to list it:

Though when I tried to view it, it said the uploader has not made it available in your country, so that may mean it is only available for the Japanese to see.
