It can have other aspects of the show , but specifically, is there any other shows where an army / organization is formed and it just grows bigger with interesting characters joining/recruited , as the show goes on...

Similar to that would be One Piece , since in the beginning of the show they start of with 3 members and later on it gets bigger ....Something like that
