Korean webtoons

I recently stumbled on this Korean webtoon (A HUGE WARNING before reading this!).
And after seeing it there seems to be the interesting possibility with Korean webtoons.

This raised another question for me. I wonder if Korean webtoons' format could be the future of graphic novels. Besides the potential like the above comic, but the general format. Because almost anyone are able participate it leads more diverse creation. The format could deal with piracy as it is already free to read online.

Though Japan and America with its already established companies, probably won't change.

Uh, I saw this posted in another forum too, but I don't see anything other than Korean with a picture of a guy staring at a monitor.

I think you have to scroll lower to see the comic. Also, since I didn't see it, I'm welcome to spoilers of the written kind.

Well, I read noblesse on naver each week (well, I read the translation, but I go on the page of the original).
Webtoons is really a great format.

And... **** *** for the comic you post... It's nice but I was about to go to sleep... Now My hearth is beating like crazy...

In korea it becomes a trend and a convenience to go digital.
Just read the interview in France of The Breaker mangaka, which is in that manhwa thread.

Holy *#&@, that's what I get for being curious.

I'm good with horror stuff but that caught me completely off guard. I couldn't even scroll past the first part.

Haha, I see it now. Pretty interesting use of the webtoon format.

Anyways, I liked Kisswood, and I'm reading Tower of God right now. Haven't found the other ones too interesting.

I'm currently interested with the webtoon Knight Run. It has a very good Sci-Fi story with a mix of Starship Troopers and magic. Another is Supernatural Investigation Department and Remnant, two very good mystery webtoons that involves the Korean police.

...Wow. That scared me. It seems an interesting thing to do, it's like a ix of manga and anime (but Korean ofc) Anyway, the only webtoons i'm following now are Noblesse and Green boy, and the random ones that occasionally get released (Stalker, March rabbit, etc), and i finished Trace.

I read that a few days ago too and it scared the shit out of me.

Anyway, I've only read 3 Korean webtoons so far: Melo Holic, Annarasumanara, and Nineteen, Twenty-one. I'm planning to read more webtoons but was too lazy to find time to do so.

I don't know how webtoons are like in Japan or US, but in Korea it seems like it's a hit. It's easy to access webtoons, and it's also very convenient to read. I like how I only have to scroll down and down and down.... to read webtoon.

Here's a translation of it.

I think most of you stopped at the part when
Spoiler for spoiler:

On topic: I only see two webtoons (Noblesse and Supernatural Investigation Department). Only the latter peaked my interest. Noblesse is something but it somewhat confuses me.

Holy ****, even though I read the spoiler above, it still scared the **** outta me (>.<)!

I really like the korean webtoon format. The color pages really give it a new dimension of sorts, and it's easier to read(online) than flipping pg by pg. I've read quite a few of them; Orange Marmalade, Cheese in the Trap(when it was still being translated), Annamasura, March Rabbit, God of High School, Green Boy, Nowhere Boy, and Melo Holic. MH, CinT, and OM are among my favs. The thing with those titles is that they have a more...mature/serious edge to them. Plus, the main female chars don't usually feel like a combination of every shoujo cliche ever done before (>.>)...
