True, i rather have the original boxart than something badly done.

Instant block is pretty basic for Arksys fighting games though. It's not even worth it to make a tutorial video for that one though.

As for tutorial videos, if you are lucky enough then there is a chance that the character that you are using will get such a video made by a decent player. Companies themselves aren't exactly fighting game players, so you can't expect them to make such a thing.
The best thing they can do , is to make a decent tutorial mode (or in this game's case a challenge mode) as an introduction to a specific character. But those challenge mode combo's are not always the most optimal combo's though and other players will find eventually better combo's.

In the end don't see a need to change up the box art for different areas. Going to be the same game inside minus the translations. Besides the box art looks fine and since I'll only look at it when pulling the game off the shelf that's good enough .

Agreed, to me all that matters is the game get getting released with a cool box art in my opinion. At least the art will be easy to identify when you're taking it off your shelve.

Here's an article link preview of paid DLC Persona 4 Arena character glasses mods.

So what do you think good idea or rip-off?

As always, depends on the price. If it's a dollar or two I'd buy the whole set, but I won't buy any if it's more than that. My bar is set pretty darn high for paid dlc, and I'm only going to shell out if its good. And palette change/gkasses IMO are not worth more than a buck or two.

Agreed. If it were color palettes or costumes than I would pay for whenever reasonable price they offer. Glasses DLC, I hope it'll come in a package later on because it sounds like they're trying to milk costumers, and that's worrying.

I already pre-ordered this game with the additional colors and soundtrack, so I'm going to have to go to my store and ask if they add any changes to my order.

Yeah I don't plan on buying much DLC. Though maybe if there's a color that really stands out for me then I'll just pick that up, same for glasses. Definitely going to put a limit on myself though. It is a bit worrying, but long as it's just things that don't have anything to do with the actual gameplay itself I'll let them sell whatever they want. Plenty of color variations naturally in the game after all.

Agreed, Blazblue has pretty much done the same thing with color palettes and packs. The best thing about them is that you have the choice to buy them instead of being pressured. Still at least it's better than what Capcom is doing with SFxT and everything.

I hope we see more unique colors later on, because I express an interest in them as I pre-ordered a pack of them a few weeks ago. I don't mind DLC but it at least has to be done right so that fans can play a game and decides to spend money on new stuff when they feel it's necessary to.

Arc System Works set the precedent for Capcom to even pull that shit off, if you read the Blazblue thread you'll see I was against DLC characters period. (Hats off to Tecmo for agreeing with me, f you Namco for that preorder bullshit and lol capcom/atlus). And what do you mean the choice to buy them instead of being pressured? Because they're vanity items instead of characters? If so lol, characters have already been confirmed to be future DLC IIRC, at least it won't be like Makoto where she was obviously finished @ the time the game was printed but left off. These characters take months to animate...

What?! You pay for "glasses".

Hmm...if this works like the gem system in SFxT I wouldn't be surprised.

I'm pretty sure the glasses are nothing but aesthetics, like the DLC outfits in other games.

The DLC looks to be just cosmetic.

But glasses are so cheezy as DLC. I say this now but I will probably buy it.

After seeing KOFXIII with a custom color mode included (for FREE!!), buying color palette seems like a ripoff.

No, it's more like an addition costume add on for the characters designs and colors that come with the game or if we order them (like I did). I hope there's no LDC because that seems to be the new trend that most gaming companies are doing these days -_-.

I'm guessing P4 Arena is not a day one buy for you now huh? It happens "shrugs shoulders".
