I think the region lock will affect the sales in some countries.

Well people, especially in Europe, are upset about this issue so no surprise if it drops in sale. As a huge supporter for this game... this is really worrying, at least to me.

They had a very valid reason for it. The releases are all coming out at around the same time after all. I personally don't mind since I doubt Atlus will let this be a trend. If anything this might make Atlus decide to slow down localization speed in favor of new region lock. I personally prefer faster localizations.

Blazblue releases were about 5-30 days apart from each other, with dual audio and text in multiple languages. So that can't be the problem for the region lock.

i wasnt really interested in this game at first, but after seeing some of the
sprites in action, i was in awe. i'll buy this game just for its beautiful sprites only.

i just pre-ordered this game already on amazon. can't wait to play it, dood.

LOL Teddy is Christian from the WWE.

Flick the Switch and he is saluting his peep.

Makes me wonder if the "Pretty Boy" human form of Teddy is playable.

They might make him as DLC, jk jk.

Well, he can't do anything without his bear costume form, and his human form is there for the humor and bishounen factor, so I highly doubt that he will.

You actually see a glimpse of his human form when he wins. One in his bishounen and maid outfit in the anime and I'm sure in the game.

Probably to make reference to his boyish deceptive feminine looks...aka, him being a potential trap. I'm sure they're probably thinking don't change what works for fans of the series, but that's my guess...

Nothing major. Just a short 10 second clip of one of the game's animated cutscenes featuring Labrys, which I assume plays just before a fight with her in someone's story route:

Sorry Labby, you may be a robot too (which are awesome) but Aigis manages to pull off the cool look far better than you do.

She's like Ikkitousen body meets Persona meets mecha-musume.

Region locking is a publisher's decision and P4U console version is published by Atlus/Index, not Arc System Works. ASW only co-developed the game and published the arcade version.

I'd rather not go any further, but the region lock is more or less so they can distribute the money they get to the proper localization areas. You live in Japan?
Buy the Japanese version so the Japan based company gets your money. The only reason this is an issue is because things in Japan are priced higher than in other territories, and reverse importation is apparently enough of a fear that they feel they must do this. It's kinda silly and it kinda isn't, but for what it's worth, it's not because they hate the consumer, after all, we're getting the games within at most a few weeks of each other, and that's just great. This is just a price to pay for that. I can't speak much to Blazblue, but they even went on record to confirm this reasoning, what else do you want?
