No... I don't think anyone can compare to pre-patch Chie with 90% fatal counter combos.

Akihiko - 4
Yukiko - 4
Shadow Labrys - 3
Elizabeth - 2
Kanji - 1
Labrys - 1
Naoto - 1
Yousuke - 1

So Mitsuru has the largest following...no surprise there.
Only one Kanji player? He's more balanced than I thought.

Aigis was top tier together with Mitsuru and Chie prepatch (Arcadia didn't include Chie in their prepatch S tier list though ) and as far as i can see, Aigis and Mitsuru still are post patch.
Chie's 5b fatal was stupid but that is hardly the only reason why she was top tier

Also I wasn't talking about who was more broken, but to disprove DragoonKain3's post that he thought that Aigis was low tier because of her resource limitations. But that didn't stop Bang (CS1 and maybe extend) or Valkenheyn from being high tier characters in blazblue.

edit: i forgot about Carl Clover. He was pretty stupid in CT with his clap loop

Here's some Japanese tournament footage with some great level of play.

Spoiler for 10:37 to 10:48:

Here's some Labrys footage that Xefi would be proud, I hope.

That "loop" is nothing new. People already discovered it almost a month ago that when using 10 different moves with the same move proration in the same combo, then the same move proration is no longer counted after the 11th.

Apparently this discovery in p4u also opened some combo's in blazblue.

Like these stupid looking combo

Thanks, I don't watch enough Naoto matches to know that loop because when I do see her play others don't use it, due to them playing the zoning and trapping game, or can't find the opportunity too. The Naoto "loop" looks pretty tricky to do because you have to time the gun, cancel it out, do combo, and repeat, that's just me though.

Oh yes, Noel Vermillion also has one too. I remember seeing this a few days ago.

Looks like this game is getting a manga, nice! Focusing on the emotions on the characters, interesting, since this is a existing RPG series, turned fighting game, now manga I wonder how they'll go about this for each individual character.

I don't like the regular Labrys that much, because she seems like a one trick pony character to me though.

She'll definitely be a pain to deal with because of the overhead mixups, and the fact that her damage doubles each time her hits connects. In essence: Red axe = death, at least to me.

Really happy about this but why differ from the P4A story?

I don't know, but since emotions are coming into play here, it's safe to say that the story will focus on each of the individual characters, their reasons for fighting, and how ideals will clash. That's just my take on this.

If I get this game fast, I will be aiming to be one of the first 5 on the world to get all trophies in it. Although, they are looking to be pretty hard so far.

Here's a quick article with a sneak peak regarding the network, challenge, and lesson modes available. One thing I can is say is...challenge accepted! This is going to be awesome!

@kirito: looking great, #hype!

Just a question though: Is there any info on the story part? I don't know a thing about Persona 4's story, so I'm a bit worried that I will be confused

The story mode is roughly 30 to 40 hours long. As for the info of the story, I can't say much because they gave news on how long it will be and that's pretty much what I know. I haven't seen any footage because I'm waiting for the game to come out before I hop into it. Oh yes, I found this on Atlus's site a moment ago:

Spoiler for Demand from Atlus:

This still won't stop people from uploading and sharing the story on the net, unfortunately. I heard that people are getting the game much quicker before the release date so that could change in the long run. Also I think that a few people uploaded the story mode footage, but it's in Japanese from what I've heard.

Depend, are you getting the japanese copy? Japan have a two weeks lead to stay on top of the leaderboards and earn a platinum.

I meant on the west, yes. This game is region-locked, I think it's the same for the trophies' leaderboard. If it isn't, I will be happy with only being near the top on the west(only managed to enter top 3 worldwide with Marvel vs Capcom 3 =P). I just hope I manage to get it a little early.

Ah, good luck.

But just so you know, whatever site you're using to see the trophy ranks usually only rank those that are registered there. It may look like you're top 3 worldwide, but in reality you're only top 3 on that site. Still not bad.

I'm in the top 40+ for Ghost Recon: FS (platinum) on psnprofiles.

Last 3 move-set videos with Labby, S. Labby and Lizzie:

Spoiler for 3 Videos:

Gah. I've said it before, but I'd totally main Shadow Labrys if she didn't seem so hard to play and didn't look the way she does appearance-wise. Everything else about the character looks/sounds freaking awesome.

Also, a cool sneak peek at Yuri Lowenthal doing some of Yosuke's lines for the dub:
