Indeed.

Seriously, I can see it from miles away and I hate when we're being toyed in the love cepartment when it could be solved now so we can focus on something else. Let's get this thing done and focus on the game already!

After receiving that hit to the head Kakeru brought out his best play.
Seems like he should get hit on the head more often ROFL
It was awesome watching him go!
Enoshima got themselves into a serious pinch for a while.
That Tsukumo kid sure played really well.
Kakeru's new feint was just amazing.

Idiot Kakeru leaving Nana like that to go with Mai. Well nothing happened so its ok. Lol the team lost in getting those cleats. Like how Mako made sure Araki didn't eat anything. Interesting that Asuka is a s strong as he is today thanks to Suguru. Wonder if he'll talk to Kakeru.

Enoshima training very hard.
That Kamakura high sure knows how to play.
It was nice watching the highlights of the game.
Going to the festival to relax was a good idea since they were all on edge about the upcoming game.
Looks like Kakeru is getting popular with the girls too.

Kakeru is such a *insert British insult* for leaving Nana like that indeed. Then, he's not even capable of just hugging her when having the chance. C'mon, be a man! On the other hand, I'm surprised Nana didn't insist to remind Mai who came with Kakeru in the festival.

I lol'd at the guys doing everything so Araki doesn't eat.

Since when does Silva and Mai know each other? Well the phi-trick was already used, wonder how Enoshima will be bale to take the lead. Asuka is a tough opponent.

The game was interesting, but Mai's overconfidence and attitude were kinda annoying.
In the end Mai & Seven made a good team.
I was watching that episode again... I was wondering how they could be serious enough to get Takeda as the coach.

You know who Mai reminded me of? She reminded me of Gavin Harris from Goal! The Dream Begins, which means that I hope they'll bring a real coach at some point, preferably a middle-adged man with solid authority and moments of good philosophy, to put Mai down to her place. I sure would like to see more of Mai and Seven as a duo, but not before a real coach cracks down Mai's attitude issues even if it means replacing the starting Mai more often for Seven since both are rivals for the same spot right now.

52 episodes from what I read once.

..........

EDIT (June 5): A little bit off-topic, but I wanted to write a little about today's news. With Shinji Kagawa signing for ManUtd, I guess what we saw in fiction is slowly heading towards reality when it comes to Japanese football.

What just happened in the latest episode? In the end, Kakeru was supposed to make a goal but .. It seemed like he didn't? The subtitles claimed it was a tying goal against Yoin but in the window it seemed like the result would be now 3-1 instead of 2-2

Enoshima vs Yoin High match continues.
Asuka still makingde some serious problems for Enoshima.
They had some good plays, but Asuka sure knows how to stopped them.
This was a pretty intense game which is still not over.

I think(somehow) Asuka stole the ball and scored from that far. The guy is a total monster on the field.

^That's also what I thought from the images that were shown then, but the subs were confusing me .. According to them, as I said, they scored a tying goal against Yoin .. x_x .. I guess I'll just have to wait for the next episode.

The subs are shit. There was a time jump: Kakeru didn't score, and Asuka pulled a fast counter attack and scored the third goal. We'll see the scene they skipped next episode.

Well despite calling them '' HorribleSubs '', CR does actually have decent subs .. So this kind of mistake is weird because I don't even get how can you '' mistranslate '' it into that... How does '' Yoin scores third goal '' come to '' scored tying goal against Yoin '' ..

Oh well.. just gotta wait for the next episode then .. Can't wait >.<.

Also is there a confirmation anywhere that this show is 52 episodes? '' What I read once '' doesn't really confirm anything .. I always thought this was 24, but I doubt it now unless they plan to leave things unfinished.

Things were looking pretty bad for Enoshima.
Asuka was proving to be a serious handful.
The flashback part was interesting.
At least it gave us a little insight into Asuka's mind.
Kakeru's Suguru mode always proves to be very affective.
Looks like there still may be some hope left!

For the first half of this episode, Kakeru really exasperated me a lot with the amount of wide open opportunities he missed when he should score a goal. What kind of striker is he?

In the overall scheme of what happens during games, how come we never see Enoshima create something which leads to a penalty? This Asuka, for example, is a real pain in the ass. It only takes one moment of brilliance to have him commit a foul in the box as the last defender and get him sent off.

About the number of episodes, one of the fansub groups dropped the series over a month ago because it is said to be long. I'd be surprised if they stop it here; there's room for more. The normal conclusion (based on the manga or original stuff) will only come when Kakeru becomes a real baby-faced assassin (an expression used by many to describe a particular former Norwegian striker) on his own.

Finally -> the finale!
Nakatsuka was pretty good this time.
Guess that game was too much for Kakeru to handle.
Shame the game ended the way it did.
Well, at least there will be plenty of other chances.
