Fansub groups: how to get your torrents listed faster

The AnimeSuki torrent index is mostly manually maintained. I have written some scripts that can do some automation, but they fail on new torrents or anything else that doesn't following existing "patterns".

For this reason AnimeSuki staff has been inundated for some time with the amount of new torrents to add to our index. This unfortunately means that not everything is added as fast as it could be.

While the ideal solution may be one where anyone can add and edit the torrent index freely, it will take some time to build a system robust enough (idiot & abuse proof).

As an immediate solution as fansub group you can contact me (by PM) to get an account to the (previously staff only) backend system of AnimeSuki. This allows you to trigger some backend scripts to get your torrents added faster and to also add any torrents that our automated scripts failed to handle properly.

Of course to be listed, any torrent must abide our Torrent Listing Policy. Also if your group is not yet listed in our index, please also provide this info:
  • The link to your torrent site or page, if you have one.
  • The link to your groups website, if you have one.
  • Your groups IRC channel and IRC network, if you have one.
  • Your groups full name (ie. "Anime Coalition") and abbreviation (ie. "AC").
