Got it, played it, completed the story.
In general, the playstyle is the same as the first game (obviously), but there are little additions that make the gameplay better.

More importantly, the story is a remake of the first game and done FAR better. To be honest, the first's story was rather.......... poor, but anyways, the story this time is far better, no complaints from me.

It is a different game. A big change, not sure if that is the word to use in this case, is that the vita game uses full-3D field. That alone make it different in nature.

You should really start a new thread, since the 3DS games are 2D beat'em ups and the vita game is like Dynasty Warriors, they are completely different games.
