So you mean it will get canned by the author?

So Tsukishima is doing pretty well in his fight with Byakuya, but what happens if he cuts himself - can he actually make himself believe he has shinigami powers or effect/warp reality that much?

I am getting really ticked at this fullbring crap. They're all completely unfair. On the other hand, i suppose zanpaktou's powers aren't that fair themselves, but these cross the line.

On the subject of Tsukishima, at first i thought his power was to change people's memories. That might make sense. But in his fight with Byakuya, he suddenly has the power to have made actual physical changes in the past. What's more he can learn things that happened in people's past by supposedly being there. Eventually wouldn't there be conflicts in the space time continuum or something? What's more if he remembers every part of the life of the person whose life he goes into, wouldn't the sheer bulk of memories drive him insane.

I really hope they get to an enemy that makes a little more sense. Not to mention that once you get past the nuisance of it, the fullbring powers really aren't that great. Other than the Tsukishima fight, it's like Kubo's going out of his way to say "shinigami are the greatest, don't get any ideas".

That's what I'm wondering as well.
Okay, he doesn't remember everything of the peoples past, but just the parts, where he put himself in, but all in all, shouldn't he reach a point, where he can't distinguish reality from the made up memories himself.

I think it's a bit cruel to suddenly expect Bleach to take Required Secondary Powers into account.

The weirdest part is that, if he truly inserts himself into the past, then he should have all of SS on his trail for the hideous crimes that he has committed in Ichigo's place, and everyone should know who he is, and he in turn would have full intel on everybody else; hijacking Orihime's past forcibly connects him to Ichigo and his entire school, including Chad and Ishida, who in turn know the shinigami, who extend to an entire society, and so on...this is MADNESS!

I'm somewhat excited and confused about the balance of power right now, it brings a few questions that I'm just waiting to have answered.

1) All the shinigami seem to have trained and became at least captain/espada level right now (yet some of them still don't have bankai...), it makes me wonder how strong the other ones have become. (Like the Captain Commander)

2) From the looks of it all the fullbringers are down for the count, where will this arc head? I get the odd feeling that Tsukishima wont last as long as Aizen, and I'm not really sure what else can happen to Ginjo other than death at this point. If the arc is already coming to a close... Kubo needs to start developing whats next if Bleach will go on.

3) Now that Ichigo has his shinigami powers again, can he use the Final Getsuga Tenshou again?

Okay I can't take it!!! Before I go to sleep because I was up all night reading Yaoi...I have to say this..
.Hah?
What?
Dude he doesn't insert himself into the past. He doesn't hijack their pasts. He inserts himself into their memories and then they believe he was with them all the time. He doesn't change the past, he merely makes you think that he was in your past

That would be fine if the stone hadn't been freaking sliced in a ready trap, you can't do that in memories. Not to mention the mental duels against Senbonzakura.

Does anyone find it slightly odd that so far the Shinigami captains had held back from killing the humans while Zaraki went for the kill from the get go unless being sliced in half doesn't count?

Bleach is so awash with plot holes and inconsistencies even when you consider it in the context of Bleach world that it is just a terribly written manga.

End of rant.

I was about to concur but someone (LoPpy?) mentioned that objects have certain special connections that the Japanese would understand more than us. So he didn't actually time travel (as I've suggested) but it's to be treated as a simple memory alteration as if it were a person. I'm inclined to this only because otherwise the ability is overpowered as shit.

Well if inaminate objects can have "souls" then it's not that much of a stretch for them to have "memories" either. It may be a bit of Values Dissonance since our concept of "memories" is actually true different to theirs.

But Zaraki is entirely different from the rest of the Shinigami captains.

I agree. He is different--but in away that I felt ran contrary to how he acted in his brief battle against Giriko. This is the only captain among them who actually enjoys battle enough to allow his opponents a fighting chance--even if his opponent seems significantly weaker and unable to hurt him at the beginning (like his first battle against Ichigo). With that said, I would've expected Ken to be at least somewhat amused at Giriko's power up prior to cutting him down (at least enough to allow him to take a swing). But instead Kubo decided to make Ken OHKO him into oblivion before he had a chance to do anything. It felt out of character. But of course, with an ability with as much potential as "time tells no lies", perhaps an instant death through a blitzed assault was the only conceivable way Kubo was going to be able to give Ken the victory while allowing him to save face to the fandom in the process.
