Well it is hard to be creative in this day in age. It is exactly what you posted. I remembered I was one of the few who felt that something was very wrong and felt that is was not entirely Rubia's fault.

It's possible that the ELs (Elemental Lords) have been imprisoned or something similar to it, though I seriously doubt they've been offed in their entirety. Seirei's mentioned quite a few times about how if that were to happen, all the spirits under each respective EL's dominion would be wiped out, isn't that right?

Here's an idea. For all their implied power, the ELs are still spirits, are they not? What if someone actually managed to bind them under a contract and is now using them however they see fit?

I don't see the Hate among Rubia as a girl. But all I see the Hate of Rubia why she is the antagonist. Also... seriously I want to see a full blown dere on Claire or RUbia.. But the majority of hate was claire as a girl similar to Kirino I guess.

The water lord conscious was released but part of her still seems to be sealed, thus she can't access her full powers. They tried to release Volcanica this volume, but it is not mentioned whether they succeed as Kamito was overwhelmed by the darkness and/or the Demon King's conscious.

Yeah, this actually makes her worse. Before, it was implied she was fulfilling some kind of ancient mission having to do with the Sacred Maiden. Something involving the fate of the world and what not. Now we find out she really is just a teenage girl with too much power going on a rampage because of her own weakness.

Reading through chapter 4, now I can say for certainty: Good boy Kamito, you raised a flag with Rubia with the "White Knight rescues the damsel in distress" show, my guess is that just some more flags and she'll be more or less in the harem
