[Anime] Episode 7: The Night the Chimera Cries
What a tearjerker...and from the previews, we've got a lot more to deal with.
The anime seems determined to squeeze every drop of drama out of the plotlines. Even Nina's end was more violent and traumatic than it was in the manga. And then they threw pictures of Nina and Alexander all over the end sequence too. Sadistic people in charge of this show... Of course now it looks like Ed's in trouble for what happened. Argh, I'm at the edge of my seat waiting for next week! AHHHH!

Finaly, it came for Full metal Alchemist. The reason why anime series are so great. Its like there telling us "Wait! and you'll see...." I waited and I saw. Wonderful! In your face anybody who say anime are only drawings! This is better than reality!Anime as done IT again!

i must say... wow. I never expected this show to be gearing close to an almost political commentary on government and humans.
Also... manga. I've read the first volume, and i KNOW its already different in terms of time line and stuff, but is there any more translated? |

I was really hoping Ed kill Tucker that bastard deserves to die, but its good Nina aka chimera stops him otherwise he would've been in big trouble. i dont know why but I was more angry then sad when watching this episode. Anyways I thought it was very good, FMA just keeps on getting better and better.

...such a sad episode. How could that guy do that to his own daugther?! Must...hold in...anger. FMA has now gotten my full attention and it is a great anime. Ugh, I'm feeling rather gloomy now.

This episode was indeed very sad. I was hoping that the chimera would tag along with them but it's sad how they chose death instead. (they could of ran to him but chose to sniff out the muderer, they were in pain and wanted to die because they understood what happened to their mother, and nina wanted to see her mother etc)

I think it has a nice touch in the ending. Showing the smile and laughter of Nina and Alexander.
This episode is one of those "heartache" drama. It is too depressing in the end ![]() To Nina and Alexander, we will always remember your smile ... Tucker-San ... why you little ...

well I heard it was going to be a sad eps about nina so I figured out long before I even watched it that she'ld be turned into the chimera. I mean how can you create a chimera that talks and understands humans without having some human as part of it? it should have been obvious to ed and al

Really, i must say FMA is the best anime out this season. It has great pace and explores different meanings of alchemy every episode. Unlike naruto, i love the manga more than the anime, but for FMA, i must say the anime is really a huge success. Tucker is just like a crazy scientist nowadays, who tries to make clones of every living things. Some law of nature, IMO, is better to not to go against it.
