The girl in the first version of the banner is an artwork from a deviantart artist, I think it's an original character of his.
Still the other versions are ok imo, I can submit any of them.

This is my first batch, and I know it's a bit over the size limit and it doesn't have any text, but I'm not done with it yet.

Also, I wish the limit wouldn't be 60kb, it's killing the quality.

You messed up the graidient. Trust me we would all love it if we could put that detail in the background but we just can't. Try placing your banner in the test page provided in the first post and you'll see the problem.

It's still quite complex and the font isn't very visible, in my opinion. With my uneducated guess, you'll probably want to cut down to about a third of the complexity on your background layer; there's simply too much white everywhere at the moment and that's interfering with your purely light text as well. I like the overall banner though, nice work.

We just have to make it blend into the full gradient.

Well i liked it, but like papermario said, the font is really dificult too see, and for my opnion there is a way too much brushes in the border and in the banner , so when it blend with the gradient it is going too fell some empiness, if you understand me

but nway the banner is great, congratulations ~

This is probably because the banner is being exported with an ICC profile this time.

Advice to everyone:
To export your banner from Photoshop, use the "Save for Web & Devices" option (in earlier versions it may just be called "Save for Web"). Start with the "JPEG High" preset, and gradually increase the quality threshold until you achieve the best compromise between quality and filesize. You can see the file size of the exported image at the bottom as long as you're in the "Optimized" tab, which also serves as a live preview of the resulting export. Make sure the "Embed Color Profile" checkbox is *off*.

That's rather strange considering it blends on both my computers... except that there's a line where I should've masked some of the snow...

I've added the original gradient on top and clipping masked the banner I've made so the edges should be the original...

Thanks relentless flame, I will uncheck the embed color option, maybe that helps :3

Strange here too, just Mitt banner that is showing a problem at just one side all the others are fine here.
Halad: I Agree with Illusore, the text is better in v2, just a little bit closer to the render and would be perfect.

Whether you see the color profile issues depends on what browser you're using. You will likely see it if you use Firefox 3.5 or better, since it enables color management for tagged images by default. You won't see it in Chrome.

Like I said, try re-exporting the image with the "Embed Color Profile" option turned off, and then re-uploading it. Then you or others can test to confirm that fixed it.
