Interesting, I wonder it will be a sequel with all the main characters back or stars new ones?

Recently ran across my old Fafner sound tracks, and it reminded me of this series. A movie came out last year, and now we have a second movie in the works? Looks like I have an excuse to re-watch the series!

So. Excited. And still kind of dumbfounded that this show is getting so much follow-up love years and years after it first came out. I mean, I love Fafner and all, but it never exactly struck me as being a smash hit. I was already amazed and delighted by the movie--a full-length sequel series seems downright extravagant! I have no idea what Fafner fans like myself have done to deserve this, but hey, I'll take it.

Now it's scheduled to air in January 2015, three and a half years after it was first announced.

Hey, Le Fruit de la Grisaia was announced a year earlier and still hasn't had a release date attached. At least we know they're working on this.
