It's entering it's final arc. I recall one of the previous arcs lasting a couple of years but I have no idea how Kubo will manage to pad it out to 10 years...

With flashbacks, foot panels, a surprise twist that spans an arc of its own and a counter-twist that brings you back to the main arc, with a very "I bet you had forgotten about me" air about it.

What do you mean by 10 years? There were no 10 years ever mentioned in that news.

Where do you get that news? That's pretty big dream for Kubo to stretch the last arc to be 10 years long.

Well, what I want to see is the zanpakutou and bankai from the rest of the captains, and the appearance of the 0 division and the king of the soul society.

He said that in his Jump Festa 2011 (the one in december 2010) interview.
At Jump Festa 2010 (december 2009), he also said the arc would end by the middle of 2010 (which it did), that a short arc would follow and then a big arc would start.

Hence, what's going to follow should take longer than the Fullbring arc. Unless it's marked as the final arc because the manga is being canned and Tite is merely being given time to end it properly
