I found this episode highly amusing, especially with the failing older brother. Reminds me of the bumbling villain type who never gets anything right and always gets thwarted just by being nearby. The brother revealing his true form then immediately getting owned was the icing on the cake, really. The "Nii-nii" shout-out early on was pretty unexpected.

It's pretty surprising how this series keeps me entertained every week. Looking forward to the introduction of three new characters next week.

I wonder where Nyaruko was keeping that chainsaw. Didn't look like there was much room under her skirt there. Hmm. Also, I'm disappointed in what Kuuko made her do for the cake. I'm sure she could do MUCH better than being fed.

Also, is anyone else surprised Kuuko didn't try to kill Mahiro? 'Cause that's the vibe I got in ep 2

Applauded. This is a brilliant reinterpretation of Nyarako-San. Who is the author?

You know, I can easily imagine Christopher Lee doing that narration over a soundtrack by Danny Elfman. I can't think of anyone else doing this with a compelling voice, and a cool british accent, other than the man who used to be the Count Dracula himself.

Anonymous, of course. Like most literature on 4chan.

Nah, given the nature of the source, I vote for the Hollywood troll, Christopher Walken

My convictions that Nyaruko's true form is her human form is only reinforced with this episode. It seems like the other form is the powered-up form which the Nyarlathotepians have as a Nyarlathotepian.

Ok, more reason for Mahiro to reject Nyaro's seduction.

Why? Isn't it the other way around?
I'd like to believe that that's her true form.

To me, the Nyarlathotepians are similar to the Saiyans.

Implying you want to see Nyaruko and Kuuko doing a "gattai"?

If the series ended with showing us NyarlathotepianXCthughan babies I would be ok with that.

In regards to Nyaruko's appearance, I've come across a posting from another discussion on a side of the web citing a passage from the novel which mentioned that Nayaruko spent a long of time thinking up the current look in order to appeal to Mahiro.

This hints her more towards her root of the original mythos as a whimsical shapeshifter whose apperances differs from tale to tale. But then, we have no obligation to trust the words of an avatar of chaos.

At the same time, what does current look mean? Her hair style? Her fashion? It's so ambiguous

The chibi dragon was really cute.
Kuuko is in their class now too?! LOL
This love triangle is gonna make me laugh indefinitely ^^
Nyarko sure had lots of problems with the annoying Kuuko.
Was it just me or did the girls pull those weapons from under their skirts?! ROFL
Nyaro is a totally useless guy, no wonder he resents his sister.

Not a dragon

They were not any birds or bats known elsewhere on earth or in dreamland, for they were larger than elephants and had heads like a horse's. Carter knew that they must be the shantak-birds of ill rumour, and wondered no more what evil guardians and nameless sentinels made men avoid the boreal rock desert.

Straight line not a triangle

Kuuko ----> Nyarko ---> Mahiro ----> Sanity

Also... Cthuko might be... a bit TOO pervert minded? (she's like thinking of a pervert thing every 5 sec or so.... lol)

BTW... the DK-do Cake... looks like a pokeball... (now it's making me want to show a pokeball at Nyariko and hoping to catch her/it?)

And the "Weapon from inbetween the legs"... always cracks me up...
(Now... I can see why Mahiro wants no where near Nyariko's "advances"...)

Close, but this is what it's really supposed to resemble.
