And then some it doesn't make a difference, because of Nega-SAN points.

For example, I'm already at -9000 points. What difference does -SAN make to me?

Did I see that right? Did the preview state something about
Spoiler for next EP:
Oh no... i hate that........

and just after a quite boring "virtual reality" episode... i really think we reached the worst part of this series... well at least it is not at the end, so the episode after that may skyrocket the series again xD

Could someone please tell me what anime (or western TV series) has made people so averse to body-switching stories? The only one I can recall is "switched" episode 7 of Teen Titans (which might not be considered an anime, but the story itself was heartwarming IMO). The only other body-switch I recall is in a recent manga k-on antologies, which was pretty bland but nothing else.

I still appreciate the concept. It's just the idiom "walk a mile in another person's shoes" taken to literal (and supernatural) extremes, and it's a good chance for the voice actors to have fun playing a different role for a week. The only downside I can think of is that it might get confusing to talk about the characters, as you have to specify the personality and the host body, but it's not that different from the other fantasy/high technology plots like invisibility or cloning.

You want examples? There are hundreds. See here. And here when it's done with deliberate, malicious intent.

I admit I have seen only a few of the listed anime/manga, but none of them seem atrocious judging from the synopsys. I am surprised because I understand people dislike certain genres (I do not see sports anime, unless it is mixed with something I MUST see or the sports aspect is too diluted to be of any relevance); but it is the first time I have seen proof of people disliking one type of story/plot

I've just seen body-swaps soooooo many times, and 99.9% of the time the same sort of hijinks will ensue, the same sort of events will occur, and the same "lesson" will be learned from it. I'm really really really really really really really really sick of the whole thing. Especially since, frankly, I don't think it's that great of a plot idea in the first place. I don't know why so many shows latch on to it.

"Lesson"?

You seem to be confusing this anime for some educational program. This is just a way for the voice actors to have fun and act out of character, the same way such episodes in a TV live action allow actors to act insane. No lessons here.

Would you prefer "aesop" as the term instead? To quote the TVTropes page I linked "Typically, a deeper appreciation of the other's life is attained."

Now, it's true that in the case of Haiyore! Nyaruko-san, the main purpose is just to be crazy, but judging from the past tropes they've played with, they will pretend to make the characters gain that deeper appreciation for each others' lives anyway, no matter how patently ridiculous it might be.

That is not, however, the point. The confusion was over why people disliked body-swap stories in general, and I answered. The dislike for the whole concept has become strong enough that even when they're done well, or differently, I still can no longer stand them.

What about when the entire premise of the show is body-switching?

I've read about a few of those, but never seen any reason to try watching one.

I don't know why, but Dragon Ball Z is the main reason for me... The things is it was not used once, but TWICE (with the second one being completly irrelevant to the plot...) when it happened there, i never wanted to see it used anywhere, ever again. Also when i watched Dragon Ball Kai, i skipped that part...

Your choice. But I still don't think this is any more logical than those who refuse to watch any anime that featured a highschool because "there are too many highschool anime series". I can't help but feel your explanation isn't the real reason for your rage, but I will leave the matter alone.

Think of Kokoro Connect.

However, I wonder why most people hate the body switching plot device (not just Random Wanderer I swear) ?

I didn't know that the body exchange is this common let alone that people don't like it that much. I remember a few examples but I had no problem with episodes dedicated to body change and half of them were more like possessing instead of exchanging. I honestly find them more interesting than beach, onsen or developing episodes that end in memory erasure (last one didn't count because Nyaruko remembers). Especially for Haiyore I think it's great fuel for chaos.
