That's probably it then,it's his fault for not accepting things. If there's anything I found stupid, it's the fact that some characters don't want to accept their powers even though they are rely their life on them. Although, that theory does not explain how there were so many restrictions on JPS' authorities.

The guys' had their authorities much longer than Godou, but the restrictions on their authorities pretty much remain the same.

Well, Volume 6 gives more hints to their background but they are definitely not gods.

Susanoo should be quite rare as a Heretic God who retired rather than be slain.

Ok, so I was doing some thinking and thought, considering how the author likes to point out the intimate relations in myths caused by the amount of years, that the Last King might be not someone from the legends of Gods or anything but just another ruler like,

Attila, the founder of the Hunnic Empire, and since some of history also convolutes as to his character description with some suggesting he might be Asian and the sword he used to rule his empire also being mistaken time and again for another sword, the author could very well have some fun with this

You know, in the end, the author might not actually reveal the true identity of the Last King.

He didn't do it for Lancelot, and neither did he do it for the Grey Existence in volume twelve.He may just give imprecise information about who the Last King may be. Lancelot, for example, they just tell you that she's one of Ares' daughters, one of the Amazonian Queens, but he never told you which one exactly. For the Grey Existence, they just tell you that he was a Roman sun god who was given the responsibility of guarding Saturn by Jupiter.

the thing is since the author takes part of the normal Myth to make the background ..

is there any conqueror , hero or god that fits the little bits of info given on the last king ?

like the last king of japan , or a conqueror who try to get japan or something like that ??
since he is supposed to be sleep there has to be some kind of myth somewhere right?

My guess is that he is one of the many 'king in the mountain'( for more information, click on this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_in_the_Mountain ). He/she had to exist before the Roman Departure from Britain in 410 A.D. though. But given that the author alters most of the existing legends at will, it's hard to really guess who he is. It's been mentioned that the guy has slept in quite a number of different places before.

since we already have one of the Mayan gods ... in the story ..

The sword rusts overtime, but by feeding it with an excessive amount of divine energy/land energy whatever you call it, others could restore a copy of the sword and use it to it's full strength. A large amount of energy had to be fed to the sword every-time you use it.

Nope, as mentioned, the Arthurian legends were entirely

He may be summoned as a heretic god, but would definitely not be the Last King himself.
