Inside out [Pixar 2015]

Quote:
Riley (Kaitlyn Dias) is a happy, hockey-loving 11-year-old Midwestern girl, but her world turns upside-down when she and her parents move to San Francisco. Riley's emotions -- led by Joy (Amy Poehler) -- try to guide her through this difficult, life-changing event. However, the stress of the move brings Sadness (Phyllis Smith) to the forefront. When Joy and Sadness are inadvertently swept into the far reaches of Riley's mind, the only emotions left in Headquarters are Anger, Fear and Disgust.
Just watched the film today with a friend, and it was Pixar at its best. I highly recommend it for everyone because the premise of the show pretty much resonates with all of us by virtue of the fact that just about every person has emotions.

Favourite scene:

The film was revelatory, easily one of Pixar's best maybe even there best.

It was a pretty good movie. I especially liked the last 20-30 minutes. The message the movie conveyed was also very real and a good one; it's okay to feel sad.

Sadness for best emotion? I didn't think I'd like her as much as I did. She was hilarious.

It was certainly good. But I'd have to disagree with anyone who says it was their best (I'm still reserving that for Wall-E). Although, to its credit, this is the first film in a very, very long time where I actually teared up near the end.
