I just forgot one anime that I want it remade Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. The manga's just too good to be passed up just as OAV.

Tsukihime needs an adaptation by Unfotable as Tsukihime never had an anime.

If Tsukihime never had an anime in the first place. How will it receive a Full Metal Alchemist treatment?

Pretty sure Tsukihime had aniime or OVA some time ago. Or were you being sarcastic?

And if I want to add another one probably Rozen Maiden. Pretty surprised that the story in manga was completely different yet the anime itself was pretty good and fluffy until the ending.

Spoiler:

By the way, Yumekui Merry doesn't have an anime either. Here's some nice fanart, though:

Shows I feel that were mis-handled, poorly adapted and would benefit from a FMA:BH type remake off the top of my head would include Tsukihime and Negima.
Slam Dunk needs a remake. As a kid Slam Dunk was amazing and one of the most enjoyable anime ever. But I will not deny that the show had a problem with pacing issue (a single shot for a entire episode anyone?). Of course the national tournament needs to be animated, it is practically a crime the fact that it has not happened. The last match in Slam Dunk was one of the most if not the most amazing moment in anime/manga.

You're Under Arrest need to be rebooted or at least re-introduced. The third season in Autumn 2007 just failed to attract newer fans.

Anime that might be getting the treatment is Space Battleship Yamato. If they do a series after their new movie next year.

Confirmed that Space Battleship Yamato is getting a remake series following the new pilot movie that comes out in April.

So that is one off the list of anime that need the treatment...as it will get it.

The first couple coming to mind would probably be Rurouni Kenshin and Fate/Stay Night...

It would be interesting to see Robotech redone with its own animation, so that it didn't have to recut Macross other the other two shows to make stuff fit. Also be fun to see the other two shows made to fit from the start rather than make it all heavy editting.

That or just redub it based only on Macross and forget the other the series...but then it wouldn't be Robotech anymore...it would be Macross. That would open it up to allow the rest of Macross come over...thou Macross 7 does hamper that idea a little...Macross Frontier would save it again.

Haha true that with the pacing problem But to be fair I don't think there's ever been a show with over 100 episodes that hasn't run into pacing problems. To me I don't necessarily think it's as big of a problem to warrant a whole remake altogether. But if they do ever decide on it, then it'd need to have this level of animation or close to it for it to be truly justified imo.

Maybe they can just do the Inter-High Tournament as a series of OVA's. That way it's practically guaranteed the Shohoku vs Sannoh match will be awesome. In the meantime I guess I'll just keep watching this to fill in the void till they finally animate it
