I'm going to toss Gun Frontier into the mix. This is an anime based on a Matsumoto Leiji manga where he takes his two famous characters from his space operas, Harlock and Toshirou, and drops them into a Wild West setting. Instead of native Americans being oppressed by white settlers, we have an oppressed bunch of Japanese immigrants who look like native Americans. Along the way they meet up with Sinunora, one of the sexier mature women I've seen in anime, though it must take her an hour just to wash her hair. I'd probably classify this more in the "strange" rather than "bad" category, though overall I'd give it a "C". It would get a lower grade if not for Sinunora.

Psychic Academy Aura Banshou. It is really, really terrible; the best thing about it is that the episodes are only ten minutes long. It does manage to have occasional funny scenes, but that's about it.
(Well, that and the main school rival guy turns into a girl who has a massive crush on the main character if his heart starts to beat too quickly.) |
