Something like "called Chitanda Eru "Erutaso."

Can anyone explain what is that name and why?

I only now realized how socially awkward Eru can be, unless she is in "curious mode", it appears really hard for her to be aggressive and her communication style is all over the place. For someone not used to negotiation, the process can be stressful indeed, it's one of those little social skills many take for granted, but can be harder on some than others. I hope they will follow up on this point.

Eru -> Eru-chan -> Eru-tan -> Eru-tan (katakana) -> Eru-taso

える -> えるちゃん -> えるたん -> えるタン -> えるタソ
