They are! As much as they bug me out, I don't kill them. If there in my house or if I see them in unwanted places. I just relocate them outside or somewhere else. Of course I would never touch them, but as long as they don't actually harm me or anyone then I think there alright.

Spiders will meet a swift and deliberate end if spotted in my abode.

Damn creepy things.

I'm just kidding around. I don't like spiders. Most of them have venomous bites. Where I'm from, there aren't many with lethal bites. Probably many of them with bites you'd need to treat, though. I heard of someone getting a bite on their leg from a wolf spider, and they didn't go to the doctor to get treatment for it when they knew they should have and they said it was stupid of them. After about three days, they went to the hospital and they amputated a little segment out of their leg because so much tissue died from the spider bite. It was just a wolf spider, they don't have lethal bites. Now he has a scar, an indentation in one of his legs.

There are probably some real nice places to live in Australia, but one thing I'd hate about living there is the amount of large and deadly spiders that they have. If I lived there and saw big spiders in my house from time to time, I'd hate that. I don't like seeing little spiders in my house, and they ain't got nothing on some of the ones you see in tropical and desert places.

I used to hate spiders. A lot. No spider would be allowed to live once I saw it.

But recently, I've developed some pacifism towards them, and no longer have that fear/general creeped-out-edness. I actually think their kinda cool.

Then again, all I see are wolf spiders and orb-weavers about once a week, so they aren't a big problem.

(but I still hate the occasional black widow)

I live in the tropics and the spiders here are great . They never harm people. In fact, they helped us by trapping some mosquitos ^^. The only complain people have here about spiders is when their web filled the house.

Here’s some species which is common in my neighborhood:

Oh yeah, sometimes they eat birds too. They love variation in their diets.

Isn't she cute? I wish it was me on that photo.

Note: all the pictures above are real. Not photoshopped.

"1st time ever on film, see an Orb with not one but two birds (Finches) caught while having sex in her trap she lays her eggs in the birds then after having her fill she drops them onto the forest floor to have a nice dry warm safe home to grow up in. Inside the birds chest cavity. Saves donating herself as many spiders do. Only ever spinning two webs in their lives, the golden webs are used to make bullet proof vest's and are the strongest natural fiber on earth. She eats up damaged web for re-use."

I don't care about the spiders themselves so much as their webs and when they bite you for no good reason. Also they are fast and squishy so it's hard to catch and throw them outside without killing them, so I go with summary execution if I see one a meter or less away from me.

Getting killed/eaten while having sex is a really ridiculous way to die . Now, where have I seen similar situations before? Hmm...... Oh yeah! Friday the 13th movies! Jason really love killin' them horny teenagers while in heat.

I am petrified of them But I do think they're cool, just as long as they're not near me I don't kill them though, bad karma (I just really really hate the thought of killing the poor things who haven't even done anything to me... yet). So it usually ends up like this with my friends: "Hi guys, wanna come over? Why don't you throw a couple of spiders away while you're at it?" XD Ahhhh... I know my fear is somewhat irrational, but when I see them I get the urge to either:
a) run as fast as I can, or:
b) stay and watch it so it doesn't go anywhere I can't see it.
It depends on how far the spider is from me. Sometimes, if it is on the ceiling on the opposite side of my bed or something and it doesn't move around a lot, I get used to the little fellow. But it gets really creepy when it suddenly disappears

As someone who absolutely, utterly despises cockroaches and other bugs (one bug genocide, please!), I consider spiders to be allies. They're still a bit scary and icky, you don't like them climbing up on your body, some of them are probably not good to have around (poisonous ones, naturally), and heavy infestation are very, very bad for you, but as far as small monstrosities go they're really quite bros.

They eat my enemies. That's a good in my book.

Mosquitoes are far worse....those are deserving of summary execution.

I see you've never gone outfield into the jungle where the "mist" is actually swarms and swarms of them and you have no choice but to pee....And since they are instantly attracted to any bit of exposed skin....

Nor seen what malaria can do...

Or dengue fever .

I don't wanna sound like an arrogant species here, but I think the world will be better off without mosquitos (unless you consider them as good population-control tools). The frogs and other mosq-eating animals can still find other bugs to eat if they're gone.
