Heh, Yuuki's guild sure has friendly people. I'd also join if I was invited.

The fight scenes were decent for most parts. Welp, Kirito shows up just like that with his comment. I bet some people felt trolled there.

I'll say nice move by Kirito at the end. Really it's just helping make sure they can actually get in there to fight the boss, not like he's going to beat the boss for them. And if it's to help Asuna out Kirito will definitely unleash hell on those guys .

Can appreciate Asuna trying to face her troubles on her own there and not just rely on Kirito for everything. The issue with her mother is one she's got to be able to get through. He's part of it obviously because they are together, but it's not really a fight he should be fighting.

Couple things worth mentioning.

1. The guy with the big armor there seemed tough and rough... but seconds after that Yuuki was like tossing him like a furball. Lesson learn: tough guy isn't really tough handling cute little girl.

2. Asuna saw the lizard, didn't she? Then why she didn't kill that lizard?

3. That "husband is going to save the wife" scene was beyond me. I mean, the typical setting would be like the wife got chained (recall Arc 2 SAO season 1), but this one... it was superb!

More interested in that fight that the group fight lol, i hope they put in some effort in showing that off.
Also another badass Asuna's MUM, stone cold killer!

Oh, Asuna. Gaming past dinner time is not going to help you win your battle with your mother. And that's a battle you most definitely don't want to lose.

I see Kirito still had his obligatory 5 second "I'm still more awesome than anything!" moment which was indeed awesome. He certainly can make an entrance in style.

Hrm. I forgot that he pulled off that stunt. Whateves, Yuuki Asuna (pun-ba-dum-pun) delivers, so I'm fine with that.

Though I tend to lean over Kirito more than Asuna....
I'm amazed Asuna is acting like a leader for now she's like as badass as previous SAO. So bad-ass, I'm starting to like her now. And gosh Yuuki, I want her to be my Imouto-chan.

I could see why Asuna related to that bunch.
She is still partly hung up on SAO though..
Her mom does have a point sometimes.
Still, she was being harsh and unreasonable too.
In-game Asuna is great, but in RL she has a lot to learn.
Guess she's more comfortable like that since she lived there after all.
Cool episode end.

Stop Kirito. Please stop it. You're not the main character here but you just stole the whole episode by a storm with this kinda entrance.

To answer why Asuna didn't kill the lizard, I guess it's probably because that was already too late to kill the lizard as the attack pattern of the boss has already been revealed for most part. So the proper way in this case would be not revealing the fact that Sleeping Knights already found out to give them enough time to go for second attempt.

Question:
What did Kirito found out about Yuuki?

How did Kirito know what's going on? I don't remember Asuna telling him she's going to help Sleeping Knights kill the boss did she? I guess if she did he could have overheard the other guild talking about going and decided to help out coincidentally.

Anyways, that whole talk about them only have enough time until spring to 'get on with their lives' but Yuuki looking sad at her tea, and the whole 'memorial' thing just screams DEATH FLAG. Isn't it weird to use a Memorial for 'feats' in the first place? Don't they normally call them monuments? Memorials have pretty specific connotations attached, which I guess works if the plot is heading in that direction, but still weird from a game design standpoint.

Great episode, probably one of the best yet. It has the pacing of GGO but the content density of Aincrad arc, so it's basically taking the best aspects of both. Best of all, relatively lack of Kirito, although I can forgive his 5 seconds of butting in at the end.

Oh, and Tatsuya is on the memorial.

Just like Asuna is teaching Yuuki about the game Yuuki is teaching Asuna how she should handle things with her mother.

Even if Kirito did have an awesome scene at the end at least all he is doing is helping them get to the boss not actually beating the boss himself.
