Everything seems to be pointing at Urahara having been nominated to become a Royal Guard or something, seeing how he's been mentioned over and over again.

All these recent revelations make me wonder just how old Yamamoto really was. I mean unless squad zero members age differently from everyone else, Yamamoto clearly predates the very shinigami responsible for "doing things that encompass the complete history of soul society"--and by no small margin either. Was Yamamoto as old as the existence of man? lol

Ode to the 2nd best reveal in Bleach history. Day-ummm... That's kind of how I envision Orihime once she grows up. Nicely played, Kubo. Loved the humour in this chapter too.

This would explain why Shinji likes Orihime when they first met at school. Kirio Hikifune looks like a cross between Orihime and Rangiku. More like a grown-up Orihime with Rangiku's body type. Of course, she has this habit of cooking weird things like the bugs Renji mentions which reminds me of Orihime.

Nice connection! I'd totally forgotten about that. Orihime is a cutie in her own right, but if Hirako had a previous thing for Hikifune that could definitely explain a few things.

Okay, one of the remaining 2 people has to be the inventor of kido (which is interesting cause Ichigo has no idea how to use it.)

What is the other big thing of the manga that is used which could have been invented? I honestly cannot think of much other than bankai which would be more inline of the guy who invented the zanpakutou.

my guess would be that the big dude invented kidou, which would leave the scientist chick. maybe she's the IT manager and installed all the computers for squad 12?
