I think you misunderstood what Asem meant. He felt that letting the Vagans retain control of Luna would disrupt the balance, so he's going to help the Federation take it back. Otherwise it'd make it easy for the Vagans to win the war in their favor, especially if they're going to do something like move the Second Moon to Earth.

Okay I was thinking I meant have misread that one. That makes far more sense.

Is Asem against Second Moon going to Earth? That seems like the best outcome for the series, the Vagans escape Mars and settle on the Earth Sphere, war ends, everybody's happy.

except for the fact that many of the Vagan still want to murder earthlings...

You know no matter how you slice it I really can't see peace between the Vagan and Earthlings happening very fast after all there has been a lot of blood spilled and old wombs seldom fade.

As it stands, the Vagans taking control of Luna and using it to secure a route for Second Moon to show up means they're transporting ALL of their remaining forces against a severely weakened Federation. That'd be the last thing any native Earther would want, Asem included.

Flit should just clone himself and Yurin.

If Vagan can do it, so can he!!!!!

Spoiler for new character?:

So Kio is the second coming of Kira Yamato.......not really surprised....most people saw this coming the moment Kio was captured by the Vagans. :P

Hearing Flit say he'll exterminate EVERY SINGLE freaking Vagan did not sound quite right to me though.

Can't wait for the Mahou Shoujo MS in the preview for the next episode. Guns and lasers are overrated, wands are the way to go.

We cant say FX is OP yet, it haven't fought any Vegan elite units yet

Also Freedom is not that OP (5 guns? Well I got a Quebeley with 30 freaking funnels spamming non stop), SF was OP the way its was portrayed (took no damage when it clearly should have vs equal tech opponents). Also you may as well include Nu, Unicorn ,Turn-A, God Gundam, 00 Gundam and 00 Quanta to the OP list as well
Kira =/= Kio.
Also same machine tech =/= same pilot power.
In Destiny there was no opponent that can match Kira 1 vs 1 in his enemy side.

(e.g.: Flit in Age-1 fighting in Age-2 generation.)

S/he was the federation officer who was supposed to join up with Diva and pilot/command the gundam(s)?

I liked the episode. I'm not sure how I feel about Kio going Kira, although it is the most logical conclusion of all this.

I just hope he won't make the same mistakes that Kira did. At least he's showing that he's still a kid.

And lets get this straight once again.

When Flit says "Wipe out the Vegans", he means ALL the Vegans. That's what you get for not eating meat or dairy products.

That stalemate plan is a good one - look at WW I as an example. No casualties there.

Funnels that can only melee? Funnels vs. Bits? A Gundam First?

I can see why they can't shoot because those tiny shots won't damage Vagan armor(ex. Dark Hound's weak Lance rifle), compared to the Fed's much weaker armor.

I also have to hope that there's some more justification given for Asemu's decision to go space pirate. I could perhaps understand abandoning his wife and newborn child for a time if he believed that there was something he could do to decisively end the war, but leaving his family just to aid in the attempt to slowly, slowly chip away at the war effort (Assuming the Visidians' techniques and methodology even work at all)... yeah, the reason he left everyone behind is far too weak for him to be excused.

To be fair though, all the bits EXCEPT the Farsia bits are all technically melee. Probably easier to control than UC bits too since you only have to smash them into targets instead of moving and aiming them.

I hated it when they used SF DRAGONs as melee funnles in gundam dynasty warriors.
(2nd or was it 3rd one?)
