Nope, I got stuck with Kozue's delusions ... that were quite real.

As I've recalled, most of us got the short girl ending where we were stepped on by a giant robot...

Ditto to that. I would say put on the apron and then strip it off immediately, though.

EDIT: "Reaper Game 02" and "From the Items Left Behind by a Dead Freelancer" are fully translated.

Best ending there is! No matter what she'd have chosen my hard wouldn't have gone down.

Does anyone else think that 'From the Items... Freelance Writer' is about Ab. Busters? Or is it about the company which runs the tournaments?

You know what the first chapter Deadly Bullet Game feels like to me?

That Kamachi watched one too many episodes of mythbusters

Oxygen tanks are bullet resistant and they won't explode James Bond style.

At about one feet of water would disperse the energy of the bullet.

The battery of the laptop can stop a shotgun slug I think.

A three cm thick metal sheet can stop most things though if the last round is a 50 cal....

You mean, he actually defies common Hollywood tropes rather than using them outright?

What does that make? A good or a bad point?

Doew he actually use a lot of Hollywood tropes? I thought he was always pretty genre savvy and makes fun of those

Are you sure you're not thinking of HnA's author instead ?

Heads up on your radars, Reaper Game 03 and the following chapter is now up and running.

And we have our guys from the previous volume back again.

I wonder this is a continuation from which ending. It can't be Kozue's case at least and from what happened, it maybe Harumi's case.

EDIT:
Reaper Game 04 and What Each Person Held are out

2nd EDIT:
There's a NT6 reference in Reaper Game 04.
Man, didn't see that coming at all. I wonder what's going to happen in the next chapter.

I guess Harumi's route is the one that they chose. Reaper Game 04 makes references to different weird jobs that they did (not the one in the actual novel, though).

EDIT: In Reaper Game 04, Anzai shouted, 'Absurd? Did you just say the absurd?' I guess we know what Ab. Busters stand for now. Absurd works just as well as abnormal or abnormality, I guess.

Would this group in charge of the Reaper Game be opposing the Ab. Busters? The White Girl is also specifically mentioned in Reaper Game 04, codenamed Alice. She's apparently the target of this group in Volume 2.

If the group of 'students' in Volume 1 were actually Ab. Busters, then would the 'professor' who showed the films be part of this group too?

In 'What each person held', the part about Anzai says that 'once again he was used by those 4 college-age groups'. From 'once again', does this meant that more incidents have happened with the 4 of them between Volume 1 and 2?

@OverNOut What reference?

EDIT2: I re-read Volume 1, and really, the word 'absurd' already pops out quite a lot. My mistake.

This is similar to what Touma said during his fight with Birdway in NT6:

Quote:
He wanted the odd sense of accomplishment of someone who tore of his own flesh to feed a starving child.
By Touma:
Quote:
What you’re doing is like saving starving people by chopping off pieces of human flesh to feed them.

I cut my own flesh first because I was the one to make the suggestion.
This metaphor must have still been fresh in Kamachi's mind at that time.

Because tearing off flesh is nothing compared to what we've read in A Simple Monitoring so far.
