It usually indicates a bug in the tracker. If you're getting it, there's also a good chance that other people are as well.

About the only thing you can do is contact the tracker's administrator and inform them.

The tracker might "just" be overloaded. In that case there is nothing you can do except to keep trying

its not just a "busy" thing. It is a real problem that seems to be affecting a LOT of files! Hikaru no go and Spiral is affected, that I can completely confirm. Can someone help us solve this? I have four Spiral files at 99% that seem to be the message "bad data from tracker" when connecting!

HnG and Spiral. There is only one version of HnG and let me guess you try to get the Anime-Empire version of Spiral? Both are hosted by a site whos tracker bans almost every existing bt client

1) Chose some other site/group or
2) Change you client or
3) Upgrade your client to the newest version (+ upgrade python in case your client uses the python interpreter)

How would I change my client? I posted a message on their forum and apparently it is solved but I havent tested it myself yet. It seems to just be a technical problem and so far I have had no problem with the site until right now. It seems a bug messed the tracker up. I hope it is fixed.
