Elie Wiesel dies aged 87

The author of Night dies at the age of 87.

He sometimes spoke of how the torment of those nights never left him even in his old age. Maybe now he can finally find peace.

Night was a book that left a profound impression on me as a young man. It was what first truly made me realise just how destructive the Nazi's were in their atrocities.

RIP
