Almost done with Vandread (episode 22) OH my god so amazing!

Dropped Vampire Knight, really can't do shojo, if the main was a boy and the vampires girls then maybe but sadly it isn't

Watching C3 pretty good, on episode 5

Watched Bakemontegari (i think thats how you spell it) Really interesting idea of animation

On episode 8 of Nyan Koi, finally! some romance XP

Youkai Otome Zakuro - supernatural romance. Half-youkai team up with 19th Century military to combat demons. Romance ensues.

Not quite on the level of Bakemonogatari but was an interesting "alternate history supernatural style" setting. Heavy references to Shinto mythos.

I'm glad you enjoyed Vandread. This was when Gonzo was at their peak in anime production and produced such fantastic works like Last Exile. The original Last Exile series was in a world that immersed you so much, you will find yourself sucked into it and never wanting to leave. You can try the second series, but it will not be nearly as good, since most of the main cast is gone.

Just checked wikipedia, reminds me of Vandread just by reading the first few lines of the plot (not the whole thing don't want to spoil it) Most definitely gonna watch it. Oh and btw I really like anything to do with aerial machines/ vehicles mostly the only reason i finished aquarion, actually thinking about becoming a pilot or aeronautic engineer since i like naval and underwater vessels also

Why don't you give MuvLuv Alternative : Total Eclipse a shot ? The synopsis might be your thing, but since it's a sidestory (don't be fooled by the first two episodes !), you must play the visual novel first (play MuvLuv Extra first, then Unlimited and Alternative after). It happens to be a mecha-flavored sci-fi show with romantic comedy elements just like Vandread, and the MC is a badass with a dark past. Plus the girls are very cute and show their own feelings as well, but I wouldn't spoil much since you better check it out for yourself.

So its a comepletely new story correct? or if you do the visual novels it leads up to it to make sense? what about the manga adaptations, do you think i can read those instead of the visual novel?

I told you to check it for yourself. At least this story I'm talking about is a side story (which features a different cast than the usual MuvLuv cast) related to MuvLuv's sequel called MuvLuv Alternative (which is a visual novel). If you watch TE without experiencing the VN, it is impossible to make sense, so you need to learn many new things to understand and the chronology it relates as well.

Muv-Luv takes one of its visual novels and adapts it into the series. So in a sense, it is a stand alone series, where you do not need the visual novels for it to make sense.

Actually, I'm a little curious that you did not have Code Geass as one of your shows seen, since it seems like you are into this type of genre.

It is part of the Muv-Luv franchise, but it is a side story. Hence, it is still Muv-Luv, but they titled it Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse.

Think of it this way. Da Capo had its original series. It had a sequel (Da Capo SS). Then it had another story (Da Capo II) that essentially had a new cast for the most part which really did not rely on the original series. Total Eclipse is like Da Capo II in that it is in the same universe as the original, but does not rely on it to make sense.

Still though, I'm curious if you watched Code Geass?

Oh, ok, still has romance right? Anyways i watched the first episode of code geass but sorta forgot about it, idk why but, not saying i have anything against blonde girls, but I don't like the MG being blonde, i'm ok with them being supporting or a love interest, but not the one picked thats why i liked Vandread, she was there but not really a love interest.

Yeah, Total Eclipse is sort of like Mecha harem anime. It is a bit on the serious side, so it's no Vandread. Personally, I enjoy Vandread a lot more.

As for Code Geass, the sort of main girl has green hair, not blonde. The other sort of main girl has red hair, which you should have also seen in the first episode. No one in the main cast has blonde hair. However, if you don't mind the hair issue too much, then this series will probably align you with what you like. It has a little of everything, and it won the Best TV Anime award for that year.

So you know how you said i don't need the novels or anything for Total Eclipse? welll..... you were RIGHT! I didn't feel lost at all and i think its amazing! I'm only on episode 4 though so why didn't they make a anime of the original Muv-Luv? I'm reading the manga and its already better than some of the animes out there.

Like I said, you'll either love it or hate it, but you should check out the first episode.
OK will do

Itsuka Tenma No Kuro Usagi is EXACTLY what you want then. It's got absolutely everything on your list of requirements.

*Normal guy gets swept into most abnormal situations
*Demonesses and vampiresses galore
*Dark
*Action
*Horror/gore
*Magic
*Supernatural
*Moe
*Fanservice
*Many female characters
*Main love interest has red, purple AND blue hair. Yes, she has "gradient" hair. And she's a vampire.
*Amazing animation AND soundtrack.

You can't go wrong here.

Here's the OP. See if you get sucked in with just that!
