Yeah, what they're saying there is just announcing the timeline. Back in March there was the "contract renewed" image and the brief trailer at the end of Tamako Market, but they didn't confirm yet at that point that it'd be a TV series. But now, they have confirmed it.

A second season? I'm certainly not complaining but it seemed the first season was a pretty through conclusion, at least for the main couple. I wonder what will be going on this time. Well finding out will be half the fun.
