Sore ga Seiyuu!

Looks like Sore ga Seiyuu!is getting a TV series anime adaptation. More info in wiki:
http://hayatenogotoku.wikia.com/wiki/Sore_ga_Seiyuu!

Takes place in the same universe as Hayate the Combat Butler apparently.

Wow, it seems like the official website has so much news for today!

As far the visual art goes, the guy behind Saki designs the characters...welp, having him trying to convert Hata's art into animation doesn't reek of very good signs adaptation-wise.
On the other hand however, given Gonzo being at terrible state as of late, it's good to see them work on a slice of life story with cute girls in it with minimal budget, guess that'll work pretty well if it did, the way the color palette was applied to the characters' hairs reminds me of Saint Seiya.

That was a nice first episode. Futaba is trying too hard, though (well, she can be understood).
Masako Nozawa is playing herself. I think the only time I've heard voice actors playing themselves was Lucky Star.
Oh, and I didn't expect Eiji Takemoto as a Sound Director. Recognised him as soon as character started talking. Guess I've heard Sengoku Musou's Mitsunari and Ace Attorney's Edgeworth way too many times.

Ep 01

Actually...not so bad. I doubt it will be a ravingly hot seller on disc, but I find it mildly interesting. The OP and the ED are pretty nondescript.

In any event will try out a few more eps....

Better than I had expected.

The part that entertained me the most would be the voice acting gimmick itself that really worked well with the characters imo. The artwork seems average though but still has a fun tone to it.

That Rin girl also has quite the talent for someone her age!

I like the facial expression of the pink-haired one as she's emoting and acting out her lines, it looks natural to me in a certain way.

The main girl kind of sucks at her job..

Why does this remind me of Shirobako?

In terms of entertainment, it is only decent. Especially the first half makes me feel heavy for all the new voice actors of the industry. But that is also saying that it is doing a good job to tell the audiences what actually happens, and some of them are just not laughable, while the light tone is well maintained. Hope it can keep up the light documentary aspect.

Just because of the industry, not because of the quality. I enjoyed this for the insights into a seiyuu's life and work, but not for much else. Nevertheless, I will certainly keep watching.

Well, maybe a bargain basement knockoff, but only because it's set in the anime industry, that's the only real similarity.

Still, I will give the second episode a go, at the very least.

Wonder if the ED will feature a different famous anime song each week, and how much of the show's budget that's costing for the rights.

Actually this serie reminded me of Shirobako not because of the similar work place.
But because of this main character actually talked to herself using a doll.
That reminded me of it.

Beginning of ep 1 gave me a wake-up-call

Just realized that some Seiyuu... can turn out to be not what you expect them to look...

Now I can't "imagine" to certain anime characters now...

Also, "use the voice of big boobs" LOL... she got so embarrassed cause she's flat...
On other note... what's the voice of big boob like?

PIPOOO

newbie seiyuu sure makes lots of mistakes
on other hand... playing a newbie seiyuu, the real seiyuu must be skilled... LOL
