You don't know if that nearest future is in January. Off-topic anyway so I guess we'll have to wait which studio is actually doing this.

The Seinen that isn`t a Seinen, but really is a Seinen(That discussion was funny.) is getting an anime.

Demography of manga/magazine is not a genre and has nothing with anime.

Of course it is genre. Not exactly most clear cut thing around but it work well enough to be aknowledged. And I don't see reason why we shouldn't apply that on anime as well, it's not like anime never target certain demography.

No it's not a genre and anime demographics are different.
Look at KnB, shounen manga yet anime is fujoshi.

There is no such genre as Fujoshi what you probably mean Yaoi. Fujoshi are girls that watching it. And nope KnB is not Yaoi. Both manga and anime are genuine shonen. (Whether there is enough Ho yay fuel is completely unrelated issue).

But, let's drop this this. I hate offtopicness, especialy if I am somehow cause.

^ Shounen is not a genre per se. It's a target demographic for manga. And bastek66 is mostly right. Anime adaptations don't necessarily carry the same target demographic than the manga they're adapted from. Most of the time they do, but some manga published, for example, as shounen (for boys) end up adapted as anime for a female audience or just a general audience.

As I said, I will not argue about that (though I am itching do so). You can have your way.

I really like the manga, and I'm happy to see this animated, but god am I dreading the shipping that's going to come with it.

There's no need for shipping in this series.

You know that's not how shipping works.

You can ship the established couples of course, but that's harmless. What's bothersome are ship wars, but you don't have worry about that in this series, because for the most part there are no love rivals or anything like that.

Yes, instead of ship to ship combat it will be more of a ship race. Which ship will achieve completion first?

The best part of shipping... is when they all sink and everyone gets butthurt .
