First season: 12 episodes.

Second season: number of episodes unknown (airs on october 2013 FALL SEASON).

So enoy, it will not end any time soon. THe only bad news is no Valvrave the Liberator in the summer season.

It's split-cour.

12 now, another 12(? perhaps a bit more) in Autumn.

Ooh, the next episode should be worth looking forward to if those are true! They seem action packed.

How? Only death of Aina is correct, rest is wrong (and cooking was spoiled in preview).

The enemy pilot clearly said 4 justowns (4ジュスタウン), maybe it's an unique measurement of time in valvrave world equivalent to Meiji, Taisho, Showa, Heisei, etc period in this world.

Sunrise needs to actually script write or horizon will be torn to pieces. They are trying a bit too hard to sell valvrave... I mean a new e/d halfway within the season? Really?

Spoiler for Its the season~:

What was up with that derpy intro. I hope we don't get no freaking time skip imo.

If they are following gundam seed down the bone. It means someones going to die off the retarded looking robot side. I'm rooting for Q-vier. His character is plain useless. Prediction.
Spoiler for :

I bet this 13 on the second half. As a rule, Sunrise Mecha shows should end at either 25 or 50 episode. There are exceptions though...

It's like Gundam 00 albeit shorter ep
rather than going for a full 24/25 ep they split it into two seasons...

As long as Q-4 die in S1 then all is well... justice is served...

BTW, does Sunrise come up with a character for T.M.Revolution, with blonde hair and an orange mech or fighter? If Valvrave is Gundam SEED (plus Code Geass and vampires thrown in), why can't they make a Miguel Aiman or Heine Westenfluss-expy?

This is not official information.

I was reading a conversation between two person, one of them being a "staff" for this series. It went somewhat like this:

Guy: "How are they going to finish the story with just 20 something episodes?"
Staff: "Who told you it's just 20 something episodes?"
Guy: "Isn't this split cour? So just 20 something right?"
Staff: "I have no comment to that (:insert snide smiley face:)".

Reason why I call "him" a "staff" is because "he" said stuff before most episodes that turn out to be 100% correct so far (and he pointed out his affiliation on the credit list). I don't take this to mean that there will be more than 2 seasons, but the possibilities of further season, OVA, or movie-type releases are there (or it could just be something silly like a prequel manga with Saki that was just announced etc.). I'm sure the skeptics among you will call this bullshit and I'm 100% ok with that, but it's just something I personally find interesting.

Anyway, part I of the "novel" version of VVV came out and filled in/confirmed some stuff (http://puu.sh/30lV5.png). The few points that I found interesting:
  • Beginning changed to a biting contest instead of eating (Note: reading some other scan shows this to be the person who successfully land a bite on the other person wins).
  • L-Elf is still regretful of losing something that he absolutely couldn't part with in the past and still hasn't been able to get it back.
  • A-drei considered L-Elf his only rival and friend (Random: I've never seen the term "Yanhomo" used as opposed to yandere until this series).
  • L-Elf heard from his superiors that only compatible people can pilot VVV.
  • The researchers in the underground facility said you can find a ton of suitable pilots above ground.
  • Haruto found the "not being human" part eerie so he intentionally ignored the screen and tried the other stuff instead.
  • The injection also transmitted the activation manual, piloting method (how to fight with it etc.), and VVV's name into the body of the pilot.

EDIT: Oh, also forgot to mention that there were some questioning of whether they're actually going to the Moon (conversation between Moses and Nanami) and if the script is actually Golden 7 (some on 2ch said they don't think that's really what the script said) but here's the confirmation.

Not too many people care probably but I care

So if we possibly have more than twenty something more content that was predicted from 2 cour. Then I'm afraid even to imagine the roof of craziness for this show that awaits us in future. 7 episodes in and "WTFness" is already above anything I've seen in some time.

mind=blown.

So, the Golden Seven "Persons"(200 years old) proves that there are seven Valvrave. Previously, someone's firm belief about existence of 6 Valvrave is crushing big time.

Thanks. That answers a lot of question like why Haruto didn't just press "yes" and how his first fight was so badass.

Raizo refers to Yamada, right?
