Ladies and Gentlemen, grab your credit cards...

Valkyria Chronicles for 75% off sounds like a great deal. I'd consider it if I didn't have it for PS3.

Now... Mirror's Edge for 78% off is extremely tempting. And I'll give in to that temptation as my first purchase of the sale.

So is Black Mesa for $15. I am going to wait it out on Black Mesa and hope it gets a bigger discount.

I'm debating whether to get the Black Mesa remake, X-COM or Tales from the Borderlands.

And I haven't even paid my card yet.

Xcom is worth it, I got it last time. Such an amazing game.
I am hoping for Divinity Original Sins go get a bigger sale.

Is the Black Mesa build stable and complete enough? And how does Tales from the Borderlands stand in comparison to the other Telltale games?

I'm thinking of getting one of the three only since Heavensward and Arkham Knight are almost out.

I'd say it's easily as good as Wolf Among Us, if not better. Surprisingly good considering it's Borderlands, which isn't known for its story quality. I actually prefer it over the Telltale Game of Thrones series, which has thus far been a thorough disappointment to me as both a Telltale fan and a Game of Thrones fan.

Is that the same thread that TotalBiscuit made a public apology for posting it on Twitter because it turned out there are a lot of false positives in it?

Picked up Ark: Survival Evolved. It's only 17% off and I'm pretty sure it would hit a daily deal for like 25% off, but my buddies wanted me to pick it up. Best decision I've made in awhile for a game. I know it's early access, but as of right now it is SUPER fun. Most likely because our tribe (basically a clan) consists of about 6 people, and we have a pretty big base/fort with 3 tamed animals and people contributing. I'd recommend picking it up if you like survival-type games (where you die, you drop everything; however, in this game you have levels which you do NOT lose on death and if you have a bed, you respawn at the bed). It's quite different from your typical zombie survival games, and there is plenty to do. Game is quite tough to play on your own, and with the crafting-tied-to-leveling system, it encourages (but also forces you) you to join a tribe. The worst is the beginning spawn, bunch of trolls but once you move much further, talk in all chat and people would be willing to start tribe or invite you.

Ain't that sort of illegal? Well, not that anything comming from Rockstar surprises me anymore

I dunno, I haven't seen his thing on it yet. But there are ones in it doing scummy things though, regardless of the false positives.

Well...I had only one target.

Wolfenstein - New Order.

I passed on it at $27 earlier in the year in the hope it would fall to $20 in this sale.

Start of Day 2, $20 confirmed.

Done.

Man, I didn't know this happened. This is disheartening.

I don't think so since the original game is still sold 60.

But still scummy. it makes it look like GTA V was on sale when clearly it wasn't and it allowed the game to appear on the front page of Steam.

The regular version of GTAV was temporarily gone from the steam page too.

No prizes for guessing what Jimquisition's next weekly installment will be about, at this rate.

If the game is advertised as on sale and it isn't really on sale, it is illegal, at least on the US and the UK

Yeah, raising the price, and then putting it on sale is illegal in Australia as well. The GTA V one is being sneaky about it. The game itself isn't on sale, but it's part of a pack with GTA San Andreas and so on, then they whack on the -25% discount on that. So in reality you're just getting GTA:SA for free.
