Rifle drills mostly.
Though we might have come up with something since 1977 http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2013-...s-of-the-force Star Wars dojo offers fans the chance to learn the ways of the Force If you've ever wanted to learn to wield a lightsaber, and you happen to live in California, today's your lucky day Quote:

I'm so sure the katana user is so pissed off in this duel... Those stick hit him many times.
The big advantage I could see in duel wielding is being able to attack and defense at the same time... very similar to boxing... It decreases your opponents attack rate and forcing him in a defensive stance. The effectiveness of dual wielding depends on the skill of the user, the weapon ( I say the weight. I said so because of the lightness of the Arnis ).

After seeing so many comments, combined with what little philosophy I have been taught in Wing Chun and Krav Maga, I have come to a conclusion that any swordfighter needs only two things to defeat his opponent regardless of style.
They are UNDERSTANDING and PRACTICE. Nothing else. That is the ultimate zen.

You hate something you don't understand.
You are bad at something you didn't practice on. You wander aimlessly with something you have no passion for. You are only lost when you have no path to walk on. Seek. Ask. Learn. Practice only when you have understood. Love only when it has flowed fluidly. From there, it is no longer knowledge nor wisdom. It is you.

Somebody mentioned lightsabre combat, it's kind of funny yes but kind of sort of fun.
For one thing, even if you hit someone else, I can't think of any lightsabres being sold out there that would break skulls before being broken themselves. I didn't know there was anyone out there actually teaching any of the forms, I myself am Form 7. As far as applying any of the forms to actual swords...I really don't know, if I had to guess I'd say it wouldn't work out well for real. It looks cool, yes, but I'm sure even the other members here who know the forms can say that it sounds iffy at best in actual combat. |

If you put a sword above your head and one below your armpit, you too can be Dual Wielding Sword Fighting Style master.
And you need to use the Arabic swords so you too can be an Arabian Knight, you will be better and older than Disney's Aladdin. |
