The convention was actually very well LIT UP.

NSFW? Actually, if that counts than this entire thread would be tagged as NSFW.

I'm not really sold on the "flourescent" style of this guy's shots, but the Higurashi pics at the start look pretty awesome:

I also think this Card Captor Sakura cosplay is ridiculously adorable, although the girl herself barely looks real in the photo:

Ah good, so I have an excuse for my photos not matching up. You're using a D-SLR and I'm using a point and shoot.

(Actually, "Lit up" does not necessarily mean good lighting. Backlighting on a subject will often mess up a camera's metering and cause the subject to be underexposed unless you compensate for it, and what often looks like bright lighting indoors is actually quite dim compared to real sunlight - your pupils just open more to compensate. So yeah, I'm still pretty impressed.)

This site seems to have quite a number of C76 cosplays along with previous comiket ones.

It makes me wonder how did the cosplayer got into this outfit and how will the individual get out of it? And no, that's not a human-sized mecha model kit!

Then again, it appears that lots of people cosplay as mechas nowadays:

Tanaka Rie cosplaying as Mitsuru Kirijo of P3:

----
For those who don't know, Rie is the seiyuu of Simca (Air Gear), Lacus Clyne (Gundam Seed), Kirijou Mitsuru (Persona 3 FES), Karen Erra (Phantasy Star Universe), as well as many other roles.

They look better than the guys in the game itself.
