Acquire announces Mind 0 for PS Vita
A 3D school dungeon RPG joint-developed with Zerodiv.

Settings include Akihabara, Yokohama, Amamiya, and Nippori. It should be noted that these are written in kanji different from the names of the actual areas in Japan. The game starts at Saitama Prefecture high school.

Kei Takanashi (小鳥遊慧) (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita) – The protagonist. He’s cool and caring.

Sana Chiaki (千景さな) (voiced by Rina Satou) – The heroine. She enjoys physical activity, is loyal, quick to act, and relied on by everyone. Her MIND is a half-naked Elf-like thing.

Shishi Ahina (朝比奈獅子) (voiced by Yuichi Nakamura) – An endlessly cheerful dope. His MIND is frightening.

Youichi Okata (緒方洋一) (voiced by Takehito Koyasu) – A detective. His MIND is a Japanese doll-like thing.

Sounds a lot like Persona 3 though, but I guess we'll see if it can put a new spin again of summoning forth facets of your being to fight others.

Hell even the dude on the box art is the Persona 3 MC with black hair.

I couldn't find any information about what exactly that symbol means, but the best thing I could come up with is that symbols in general have a connection with Jungian psychology, and considering this game appears to deal with the "mind"...

It's probably a stretch, but that's just a another little odd similarity to Persona.

I almost thought it was devil survivor 2 from the illustration with the one on the left Daichi and the other Io. XD And yeah, the middle person looks like P3's MC .

If it's anything like Persona, it's welcome.

I just realized the MIND pictured in that scan in the opening post is the protagonist's. That was surprising. I expected something more masculine.

I'm more interested if they'll include a relationship-sim system like Persona as well... Or at least some degree of companion interaction.

. Was tempted to outright call it a Persona 3 ripoff. Though long as they don't call forth their MINDs via suspicious firearms I suppose it'll be fine

Hopefully we'll see some gameplay trailers soon, they did say that its 70% complete... Even better would be a damn localization announcement...
