There's this anime with this kid (let's call him kid A) who ends up with all the orphans, who have a leader, who's slightly older, probably in his teens. I remember there's a big tree in the middle of the area they live in, and it's a sort of broken off area, with I think, one broken up road connecting to that area. Anyway, these adults come, and they start hassling the kids for some reason, and the leader quickly helps kid A escape, in a car, I think.

Anyone know what I'm talking about, lol? I ONLY remember this scene (and only vaguely), it's random, but just came into my head today, and I have no idea what the anime is from. I bet it's really obvious, but I just can't think of it. Thanks in advance!!

Could it be Wolf's Rain? If I remember correctly one of the guys is the leader of a group of boys at the beginning of the anime, and the scene you describe is sort of familiar as well...

Could be....I have watched Wolf's Rain, a while ago, and that scene I remember does sort of feel Wolf's Rain-ish. But not 100% sure that's the one, might be a flashback scene or something...damn I feel so close, yet so far. Thanks though.

BTW, it's definitely not that scene at the beginning with Kiba (white wolf) fighting Tsume (grey wolf) in front of those other people with that tree and some random orphan kid.

EDIT: Ok, a bit more is coming back to me. The adults drive in cars, and I think they are trying to capture some of the orphans. I'm not sure if the orphans are stealing food, could be (quite common in animes I guess). I think the leader fights one or two adults, and manages to steal one of the cars. They don't manage to drive away completely though. Also a mute girl orphan involved somewhere I think. Kid A could be the main character, or one of the main characters. I don't know how he gets there, but the orphans are kind to him, and offer him shelter+food I think. Forgot what happens next....it's killing me.

I was thinking that as well, but doesn't seem like that's the anime. With a story like that, I would've thought it would've been it. I've seen the first few episodes only. I might've flicked through the last few eps and seen that scene but don't think that's the one.

EDIT: Well....I found out, it was DBZ ep 16 (I think, with Gohan and some orphanage). Unbelievable huh, it crossed my mind, but I really didn't think it'd actually be DBZ. What am I doing, calling it some wolf's rain-ish anime, well. whatever, thanks for the input anyway.

Hey there was an anime I watched in China in about 1996 about a little boy who was very innocent until his bandage was taken off and his third eye was revealed. And he was with this older, taller girl and he had a large bird...but it turned into stone...or something...and then resurrected or something I don't really remember...

You're mis-remembering. The boy removed the bandage to reveal a kanji on his forehead. It is the girl who has the third eye. The girl does have a giant bird, but it is the boy who was resurrected. This is: 3x3 Eyes.

Or maybe there really is a show like the one you described which just has a lot of coincidental resemblance to 3x3 Eyes...

Hmmm...it was different...the boy was a lot younger and had no hair*laughs* When I say boy I mean when he has the bandage on, he's like a little kid(as his size suggests) and he talks like one too, when the bandage is off he's actually quite evil and cruel and his voice changes and he becomes more like an adult. The girl I don't remember if she has any powers...the little boy looked like a monk I think...though 3x3 eye's description of the girl sounds a LOT like what I'm describing, but the animation style is VERY different and I'm pretty sure it was the little boy that had the third eye. Never mind...I found it! It's Hosuke Sharaku from "The Three Eyed One" which Wikipedia says may have inspired 3x3 eyes...*laughs*...no wonder they were similar.

Are you certain it’s not 'Fate/Fake' (aka Fate/uso)?
I’m not sure how the images were composed, but they are on French-Bread’s ‘Fate/Fake’ site below. You may already know though.

Unfortunately, I'm certain it is an April Fools Joke.
Several Japanese sites list it as such, the requirements are a bit pricey, and the release date of April 1 2014 are a bit suspicious, and come on … ‘uso’ ?

Also, take a look at the 'Notorious Brand' gif, its animated. Guess I was scrolling at the right time. If you wait for two 60 sec cycles it will change an stay up for another minute. However, the original title_n.gif does not change.

hi all,
im looking for 2 series.
the first, i watched a small clip. i think its old, 5-6 years maybe.
all i remember is the hero was a girl and she had 3-2 "sidekicks" one of them had a long neck and could see into the near future. the settings was medieval.
hope somebody gets it.

the second is easier but i still cant find any torrents. (maybe its licensed?)

I've done a fair bit of searching but, as I have little to go on ( actually,just a single picture ), finding out who the girl in this picture ( below ) is, is proving rather difficult.



I am hoping someone here can either steer me in the right direction or provide some concrete information. I have seen another ( incomplete ) picture of her so I am guessing this wasn't a one-off piece. Whether she is from an anime, manga, game or just the creation of someone as a hobby, I do not know.

If anyone can help me identify her ( or what she is from ) or provide some more pictures, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

That's from the PS2 game Shining Tears

There's a currently airing anime called Shining Tears X Wind, wich you can read about here.

I think the anime is a mix of both the Shining Tears and Shining Wind games.
