Hi all,

Looking for help in identifying a film from my youth; would have been released in the US prior to '96. It started with ships flying in an underground city to attack scientists who either developed a transport system or a way to clean the air on the surface so they could return topside. I also remember the whole populace traveling to what they thought was another planet, but turned out to be their own planet in the past, which they irradiated themselves, sort of like a reverse planet of the apes. The last scene involves the main character holding the body of the love interest as he walks along the shore. I only saw it once as a kid, but this movie has stuck with me all these years. Any help in identifying it would be greatly appreciated.

Forgot these manga titles, but here the description. Tyvm

1. protagonist creation from drawings, came to life and has magical abilities. He was obsess with making the perfect girl, but he has a crush on his blonde haired senpai. They all met at a shrine.

2. The manga protagonist is a young woman in her twenties and she is a mother of 2 (4yr daughter & 2yr son) and she is married to a rough young guy, who is carrying the family w/ his pay. The series pretty much have short skits of the family doing wacky stuff or cute things. I recall the father always freaks out his niece (only 1yr old), because he looks like an ape to her.

2. a manga about a family. The mother is the protagonist and she is very busy with her 2 kids, one is 4 yr old girl (black hair) and a 2 yr son, who acts like a rampage monkey. Her husband is the only one working and he keeps on scaring his niece (who is 1 yr).

First and fourth are Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru!
Second (kid with a cap) is the latest ep from Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate
Third is Higurashi Rei OVAs
Fifth is Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi
and the last one is KuroKami
