Interesting Anime (Spring 2011-Summer 2012)

well as title suggest I want anime from this timeline. mainly to fill my summer holiday.

also with this criteria

-Good art design
-Preferable 1 cour. you can suggest me OVA and Movie if it fit other criteria
-Not Manga adaption unleash there is no scanlation
-Not just standard "cute girl doing cut thing". it need to be something interesting.
-Also not very dark & serious story like Fate/zero (in case you wondering i already watch that)
-Some action series is welcome
-Mostly interest in comedy series
-I dont mind Yuri as long is not "Yuri girl doing Yuri thing" only

So far my list included
C^3
Jinrui
Denpa Onna
Kamisama

you can recommended 2 Cour anime but it have to be very good.
I maybe put Tiger & Bunny as example of exception

Vivid Red Operation fits most of the criteria you want: a show with good artwork not based on any source material to begin with, packed with action, story with little seriousness and some comedic scenes. The last part seemed a bit debatable but everything else were fine.

In that time frame, I'd suggest Chihayafuru, Tsuritama, and Hyouge Mono.

I've only seen C3 out of the list, but I could say it was pretty good. It includes everything you want, but the only gripe is that the story seemed a little too dark, but at least the comedic scenes balances out weirdly (in a good way I say) with plot. As for the others, you should probably decides for yourself, but some of them are manga adaptations, not sure if they have scanlations, but most of the animes in your plan to watch list range from average to excellent.

Usagi Drop is an excellent slice-of-life show, though I'm a bit of a sucker for it since I, too, was once a single father raising a young girl. I also enjoyed Ikoku Meiro no Croiseé. My only complaint was that I found the French friend, Alice, rather annoying, even though she was voiced by one of my favorite young seiyuus, Aoi Yuuki. These two shows feature my two nominees for cutest anime character of 2011, Rin from Usagi Drop and Yune from Croiseé.

I've bought the disc releases for both these shows, so consider that an endorsement. I only buy a small subset of the shows I have watched.

If you like the background art in Croiseé, I recommend watching AKB0048. Both shows employed Satelight's talented group of French illustrators. AKB0048 is a fun show, especially the first season. (The first season's episodes are below the second ones on the Crunchyroll page.)

I'll also suggest the Lupin III/Mine Fujiko remake as well.

Nichijou is a two-cour but also a show that I think everyone should give a try. It just so happens to be my favorite comedy show of 2011. Don't worry, it's not a moeblob show just about cute girls everywhere(though that doesn't mean there aren't any cute momentsat all). Nichijou means 'Daily Life' but:

From MAL:
While the title suggests a story of simple, everyday school life, the contents are more the opposite. The setting is a strange school where you may see the principal wrestle a deer or a robot's arm hide a rollcake. However there are still normal stories, like making a card castle or taking a test you didn't study for.
The show takes the ordinary and makes it... unordinary, especially the ones I bold-faced. May take some getting used to but it definitely grew on me in time, as did its unique style of comedy. How frequently you'll decide to watch it is up to you, but I enjoyed it most when waiting to watch a new episode each weekend morning. The studio that handled the adaption was Kyoto Animation so you definitely don't have to worry about problems with animation inconsistencies.

Tsuritama is probably the best series during that period, period, and it doesn't seem to check off any of your disqualifiers. I'd give that a go.

C^3 - Didn't like it all and dropped it after six episodes. The was too bizarre and I just hated the character designs.

Jinrui wa Suitaishimashita - An absolutely great comedy thanks to it's ridiculously cynical black humour from the main protagonist and the hilariously dark fairies.

Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko - A very good comedy and takes it's inspiration from Bakemonogatari, except it's not as focused on the supernatural. Very dialogue heavy and very meta but there is some real heart in it too.

Ikoku Meiro no Croisée - A really nice and slow slice of life that boasts well developed characters with real relationships. It's biggest strength is its heart and sincerity.

Oda Nobuna no Yabou - A decent action flick. Madhouse creates a pretty slick and fast paced story that doesn't boast the most grounded or comprehensive plot but is still reasonably entertaining from start to finish as long as you to switch your brain off and just enjoy the Rule of Cool.

Kamisama no Memou-chou - A good detective show that varies in quality between arcs with some great cases and some not to great cases but is pretty atmospheric and when it's good, it's really good.

High School Boy's Daily Lives - Just a hilarious comedy about a bunch of guys pissing about. Probably the most accurate depiction of high school guys i've seen yet.

Usagi Drop - A great slice of life about what it means to raise a child. It's consistently great from start to finish and its moments are subtle and poignant.
