Well I can agree with that. But still, what makes me like that chapter is his parting words where we need to keep fighting regardless of the hardship (or die without doing anything) and that they must never give up.

Oh and DR reload trailer is up

Finished DR2, that was so much better ending than the 1st game. And the whole twist was well thought out until the end. While half of the revelation could be guessed already from the foreshadowing, it was still greatly executed until the end. Definitely one of the best read in this year for me,

I am wondering what they can do for the sequel now.

Yes, but normally I see the long name in the sentence I'll just skip to the next knowing that its just the hamsters' name, ie. speed reading. So when it comes down to his MTB, I did not know what is the order "Ankoku", "Hakaishin", Shitenou", which comes first. And I was too pissed off at him to bother remembering which order I have tried and was blindly pressing the buttons lol.

^Hey, so now that you're much farther along in the game, I suppose I can ask.... what's your opinion of Kuzuryuu now?

BTW, I'm still in the middle of reading the tumblr translations myself (at the last chapter right now) so I'll join in all of the detailed spoiler talk soon enough. Though so far I have to say that chapter 4 is STILL my favorite in the game so far (I felt the same way during my first time playing through the game blind).....

Dunno how the hamster's names can be hard to forget. Surely, "Four Dark Heavenly God Kings of Destruction" would make far less than a mouthful, no?

Though to be honest, I thought you were asking about the hamster's individual names (Jum-P, Maga-G, Cham-P, and Sun-D for the record). That might also be a bit tricky to remember at first, until you realize that they're all literally named after the 4 most popular shounen manga magazines in Japan.

So I finished SDR2 yesterday, and it was definitely an excellent sequel. Even though I probably understood only 80% of the content, that's actually much better than following a LP that potentially spoil the fun in the process.

To elaborate more:
TL;DR…
SDR2, no real spoilers
Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?
In general, the game managed to exceed a good chunk of my expectations, and was close to be void of flaws. It is a little shame there were few things left unpolished, but that's a bit too much nitpicking from my part.
Definitely quite enjoyable.

And now, some ranking for my part:
Personal SDR2 Cases Ranking:
Spoiler for Involving End Game spoilers:

Personal SDR2 Characters Ranking:
Spoiler for Characters with some end spoilers:

Exactly why I was complaining about the epilogue.
And frankly, some characters just don't fit the bill, while others indeed do.

I'd like to know what your rankings for the trials/chapters are (e.g. 2-2>1-6>etc. (game 2, trial 2 > game 1, trial 6). I'm asking here because there will be the need to explain choices, which would likely contain spoilers.

^By "ranking", do you mean in terms of preference, or difficulty? Personally, my top favorite chapters from the original and sequel respectively would be the second and fourth chapters.

Anyway, I marathoned through the rest of the tumblr translations during the weekend. Now that some certain plot points that confused me during my initial run through the game were clarified, I feel much more at ease now to say that this is one hell of an amazing sequel, in terms of plot AND characters. And speaking of the plot:

I suppose it's the mystery and trial part of the games. How well can they keep up the mystery until you figure it out? I was reading the tumblr translation of 2-3, which was really weird towards the end. I was intrigued by the mysterious circumstances, but they gave a clue that, to me, immediately revealed who did it. If they kept that clue quiet till the middle of the trial I might have liked it better.

By the way, I liked 2-2, 1-2 was amusing, 1-6 was crazy, and 2-4 was sad but fulfilling.

You know...it's not hard to see why Komaeda is like that. It seems he hates himself deep down for what he has become and wants to die in the hope that some "hope" would come out from it. You cannot call him a paragon of hope like Nanamin when it's more like he's desperately trying to grasp for it

So I finished reading the tumblr LPs of the game. I like this game much more than the first. I think everything I wanted to say about the presentation of the game and the characters have already been said.

Spoiler for Komaeda:

Oh, and good news for everyone who's following Oren's LP of the sequel: While access to SA may still be blocked for now, he gave permission to have his LP mirrored on outside sites! So you can check that tumblr page for the latest updates whenever SA is down! Yes, that is a nice alternative, indeed!
