The Hollywood Live-action one. Don't listen to the haters before you see it. It's a fun, stylish & colorful movie that people can enjoy. Oh and did I already mentioned that it's fun?

There's also Days of Thunder starring Tom Cruise which is decent at least. If you like violence-on-wheels then there's Death Race 2000 (1975) and the newer remake, Death Race (2008).

Cannonball Run? Trashy old movie, that I vaguely remember being funny when I was younger. Also, boobies cleavage.

It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963)

Rush (2013) is easily my favorite. It perfectly depicts life in Formula 1 during the 1970s so you can contrast between most pilots' lifestyles at the time and a pilot with a lifestyle that comes closer to what we see today in current Formula 1 pilots.

I also adore Rush. But since the OP is asking for suggestions other than the movies he has seen, I can't really mention Rush again to him .

same... i never in my life saw that kind of plot TBH, most of racing movies we're usually end up hero wins the race and villain loses, i like to see more movies like that but unfortunately, Fast & Furious movies and it's copycats sell like hotcakes... so there isn't any movies like Rush apart from Taladgella Nights(if that's spelled correctly)

Grand Prix (1966) - This is from the days when Formula 1 races took place on open roads. Even though it's fifty years old, the sight of cars doing hundreds of miles an hour through downtown Monte Carlo while people stand on the curb watching is insane.

Smokey and the Bandit - If Star Wars hadn't come out, this would've been the highest grossing movie of 1977. The whole plot is "Redneck gets chased through five states by cops in order to pick up some Coors beer." (This was when Coors was a regional brand unavailable east of Texas.)

I suppose it would have to be Redline (the anime film) since that's like only one I've ever seen apart from Cars.

Le Mans (1971) has lots of good racing footage, some of which was shot during the 1970 event, & then with a fleet of hired in cars & professional drivers on the same course.
