yup i seen it on the site it is a ppv only thing in japan, so japanese have to pay just to watch it as well, it will be playing up to 6/2005 =p 7 episodes

Wow, how could you guys tell that it was 150 ms off? I watched it again and I still didnt notice it. Anyway, it is 2 eps every 2 months. check out the website for the tv schedule

I BEAT YOU !!!! and btw i forgot to add, the end song and op freekn own, who ever said the music sucked haha your so wrong, the music in the anime is the same as the other, pretty sure it was the same person doing the music too i will look into it later to make sure, but the op and ending god great groups, and good songs, ending was better but yeah that is my two cents !

You got lucky!!! The op and ed was waaay better in the other series. It's by the same group, Move, but I liked their other songs better than the ones here. I only heard one Eurobeat song in this ep too.

well its kinda hard to play a eurobeat if they aren't racing.
its the same thing in the other stages too i.e. like when takumi was racing kai(not sure how u spell his name but the guy with the sw20 aka mr2) they only had one song in that battle.
plus there are many other great eurobeat songs thats not on initial D. if your really down for eurobeat u guys should go buy some Super Eurobeat cds.

hmm, i'm not that into cars and racing. just watched the first ep and have mixed feelings. the car animation was well done... i think. but the other visuals were so.. hmm... unapealing. i don't really like the way, they draw the characters. and i think it's justdified when i say that the drawing aren't taht special. (too much "sceenshots" for my tastes) since i only saw the first ep so far, i can't say anything about the story, if there is any.

i just don't think, i want to wait two months for every next episode. two months! this looks like a soso anime, which is more for fans of cars and racing stuff.

perhaps i'll download it, when the series is complete. but on the other hand there are so much other cool series, that i still didn't watch, that it's somehow unlikely that i will ever get to no know more of this series than this first ep...

hehe.. I go and make a sub for everyone, and within 2 hours, the live-evil one comes out.. wow.. talk about short lived work of 5 hours. hehe

I was going to do the second one, but i don't think I'm going to bother.. I think live-evil has it covered. I'm not really a pro at this, and this was my first attempt. I guess live and learn, and know your place.

I can't wait for the whole thing to come out. They should come out with 1 per month though, instead of having two every two months. That's too long of a wait.. Well, it doesn't matter, i'm pyched...

LICENCED!!! Sorry, but Tokyopop bought the distrobution rights to Initial D stages 1-3 (not to mention the manga series as well). Battle, Extra, and the 4th stages are not, so downloading or the mention of where to get downloads of stages 1, 2, and 3 is NOT allowed on the animesuki site (read forum rules about asking for licenced material... as I'm sure an administrator would more than likely tell you sooner or later).

I would tell you what happened, but I can't totally remember what happened in stages 2 and 3 off the top of my head.

Could someone please help this poor soul, moonlightRonin, and pull him out of this agonizing hell that he has pit himself into??? (ok, just joking ; but seriously, could someone please tell him what went on in stages 2 and 3)

well in 2nd stage takumi races some more a crew of lancers EVO, he races an evo 4 on akina and wins, then some drama he goes to akagi and races an evo3 in the process blows his engine. more drama then his dad fix it puts a new engine and races another 86 but a turboed one.

in the 3rd stage takumi goes to irohazaka and races an the evo3 and wins, then some more drama some how ends up saving that one girl where he chaises down a celica gt-4 in the snow. then he races some an mr2 (sw20) on irohazaka and wins and at the end of the movie he decieds to join project D

now 4th stage should be the story about project D

Have anyone checked the new fansub group EnY-MnT version?? Dunno whether their subs will be good or not considering their files so small in size (just 130 - 140 Mb). Small size equals to crap video quality I believe.
