I quite disagree with you except "Afterlife" which features Chris and Claire Redfield as brother and sister pair again after "Gun Survivor" which considered trainwreck for RE game franchise.

Back to topic Monsters vs Aliens and Rio but unfortunately both critics and regular moviegoers panned them as 'cliche hell'. I also suspect that those people may have been Disney-Pixar fans and they panned ever 3D animated movies that not made from they favorite studio, especially from Dreamworks.

Actually that movie's quite well-rated, a decent 72% on RT and 6.7/10 on IMDB. I liked it a lot too, thought it was pretty amusing and a lot of fun!

Seconded. I haven't seen Monsters vs Aliens, but I did enjoy Rio quite a lot. A lot of other people I know who've seen the movie also said they liked it or at the very least didn't dislike it.

Donnie Darko. Alot of the people who lurk around me tend to share very mixed views, although a majority of those I show it to think negatively of it.

That interesting because, despite flopping in the box office, Donnie Darko was pretty critically acclaimed and it sold well on DVD and is a cult classic.

The DTV sequel on the other hand. . .

It seems as if Space Jam was considered by most to be a plotless, broken mess, but I watched it recently and still found it charming.

Ahh yes def one of those films where the "it's so bad it's great" applies

I have old fun memories of this film cause it involved making fun of one of my friends.
He tried to quote "I am the law" but it was a epic fail cause his voice went all squeaky at the end.
We promptly made for of him for years after that

On the note about Dredd, I just found out theres supposed to be a new film in the works for later this year, can anyone confirm this?
Seems Karl Urban will be Dredd.

What's wrong with Waterworld? I loved it as a kid. Can someone explain to me what was bad about it?

The first and third Twilight movies are actually pretty good...well, they're not bad at least. It's the second movie that is absolutely abysmal....

That being said, the Twilight franchise is a huge box office success, and the individual films are generally well received, so they do not really fit the criteria for this thread...

Mystery Science Theater 3000 (or RiffTrax) takes care of most movies....one way or another.
